thankyou for all your comments, I do the digitizing myself, I have used appliques in my stash for the faces, with DBC being down I can't give design. the centre oblong is for placement , I join background fabric to bottom animal colour, the join on the green line, then full frame stitchdown, the last one, *(here kangaroo & head of girl) has legs and arms attatched back of last backing fabric iron hem on one side, overlap other not stitched where striaght part is in centre, till after joined on others, then filled and stitched close by hand...hope this helps...wendy
These appliqued books you've done look adorable& made me smile. Great fun for keeping those little ones learning too. Would enjoy knowing where to find the designs if you don't mind telling. Thanks for sharing them. :~D
Job well done! These books will give hours of educational play.

Is there somewhere we can find these flip design books, or are they your creations. It is a fabulous book, i make number and alphabet books for my grand children, which i made of letters and pictures and numbers with groups of various things, i have not seen anything like this. These are very well done, thank you for sharing. Sandra.
It's such a great idea and very well done! It seems to be a lot of work but I'm thinking of making one for my new GD. I can't find any designs searching for 'flip doll' - can you help? Who is creating/selling these designs? /Gitte
