Really cute and I'm sure the finished bear didn't mind at all LOL
Well, this is sort of like Botox for Bears, I guess, hee hee hee. I'm glad the little bears have short memories, and enjoy looking good & being loved when you're done with them!
I just ordered some of these, are they easy to do?
Yes as long as your hoop is small enough. I used a 5x7 and had to get creative with my hooping. I used Sticky Plus to hold it down because the hoop was to big. Although it worked I had to watch it.
These were the 14 " bears. As the head hit the back of the machine the chest tried to lift. A larger design would not have done so well. Good Luck with yours!
Great idea... I am looking to embroider bears too. Where did you find an embroideable bear? I am looking both in Europe and in Canada-USA. Thanks and flowers! Pat
Embroidery.com you can search under Embroidery Bears.
These were the 14". I think the 20" would be easier to hoop. My smallest hoop was a 5X7 I had to use stick plus instead of hooping.
what a funny picture .. poor little bear ... but you gotta do what you gotta do to get it done! **4u
great photo do you think we could put the kids under the machine one of mine would do it if I told him I was puting Tomas on his tummy maybe I should just make him the bear
Much better, otherwise it would have to be reported to the RSPCC, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children..
That does remind me of my refrigerator magnet though. It says "Good Mother's let the children lick the beaters, Great Mothers will turn the mixer off first.
Looks very cruel, but it's the result that counts. Hopefully this bear has a very short memory or he'll scream every time you come close to your grandchildren. Thanks for showing and making us all have the giggles.
You are very welcome. We should always feast on sewing (that is why he is on the breakfast bar) and have a grand size dish of the giggles for dessert.
OUCH!!!!!.Give him a flower when you finished operating.
Poor bears, but still they must be very happy to be loved by your grandchildren
OUCH! - and I bet he didn't complain at all! This is priceless.
I think I know why the cats ran and hid. They thought they were next. Poor kitties.
Leah, I think this is sweet of you to share this - really cute! *4U
It is fun to show off Karen's new machine too. BTW are we all going to run out and purchase the New Husky Diamond? Then we could have a diamond engagement! ***4 U have you hit 18K yet?
after all it has been about an hour since you hit 17K here are some more ******************************************************************************************************************************
oh poor teddy, how painful!! looks difficult, here's a flower for you +
I did one of them for my DGS but the head was hanging off the machine toward the front and I must admit, I was beginning to feel nervous the way he was smiling at me the entire time!;)
That would have been a sight to see. I think I would cry. It is easier when you can't see the cute litte faces. Although the view from the back seemed a little gruesome. *4U
What are you doing to that poor bear - we'll have to report you to the SPCA (Society for the Protection of Cruelty towards Animals)!!!!! HAHA *4U
report her fast because she did 3 bears. Ouch!!! won't her grandchildren just love them>
