update on my machine: I have had it back for only 2 days & it is acting up again doing just the same thing & I was stitching out another mugrug when the bobbin case starting jiggling so I stopped in mid-stitch once again & called my repair guy. He is coming over tomorrow to see what is going on & hopefully correct the issues it is having & I can finish my projects sigh.......... right before the last # satin stitch edging

Wow! you are lucky to have him come to your home. my friend who has a retail shop of children's clothing also buy her machines from my dealer and worked out a deal with the repair guy to come to her shop. This is wonderful especially when you have the multi needle machines. Kay

I'm sure they are very heavy to lug around so I am glad he will come to her too. I think mine is 25pounds but that's just a guess...............it is heavy. I am thankful he is coming today too

This is pretty fabric but I see that earlier you commented that you bought these mats---that plus the fact that they told you the key fobs were causing the problem leads me to think that maybe it is the vinyl or plastic like, or backing that is causing your problems. I have never embroidered on any projects/fabric like that but I do know that sewing it is quite difficult/ Hope your guy finds something as easy as this so you don't have to give up your machine again

I hate it when that happens. I have to say that this is fantastic fabric! Just love all the colors in it. If you have a regular sewing machine, you could just stitch a satin edge on it if he has to take the machine with him. I never knew anyone would come to the house to repair a machine! Lucky you!

he is a really good guy & I have been dealing with him a long time. He will come because of my injury, & most likely I will have to satin stitch it myself but as long as I get it working I will be happy

Got my fingers crossed that he will really find out what the problem is...and not have to take it back to the shop...I thought it sounded "fishy" when he told you the problem was from stitching key fobs...

I hope he gets it fixed on the spot and doesn't have to take it with him, is there something you can sew today that doesn't need to be embroidered?

I hope so too Bev. As for sewing well........in order for him to come I must tidy the studio so he can get in lol. If he takes it with him I will work on regular sewing tomorrow. I was hoping to make the mats but that will have to wait sigh.......
