Oh wow, I had to see it close up--looks like a stunning painting. I've never tried this type design--I read further down where there were 8 hoopings in a 5 x 7 hoop and 1-2 hours of stitching each---it is gorgeous--really-not enough words to describe. This is a fabulous design.
Oh what a wonderful job you have done. Daughter is going to love it/Lillian
Lucky girl!! That is beautiful, I really appreciate you sharing it with us.
One word....Awesome!!!!Great work you did..Super Fantastic design!!!
Fabulous!! I think this is the first time I've actually seen one of these designs stitched out. Your thread choices are just perfect. I am in awe of your ability to stitch something of this complexity. My machine would probably die.
wow... that is gorgeous! That had to take a lot of time and patience (not to mention strong stabilizer!).... simply gorgeous!
beautiful! Quite a few threads changes here I'm sure, but so worth it ~hugs~
Totally amazing. This is so beautiful and I'm sure she will love how much work you put into it. Happy birthday to your darling daughter.
Ching Chou's designs are beautiful and of course BFC have lovely work. Is this the large size of 11.8" x 16.4"? Your daughter will be thrilled with this I am sure. It's a work of Art! Well done, love Chris
This is absolutely beautiful! Its like a painting masterpiece. ....amazing how pretty threadart can look and you have done such a great job!
Would you please share with us which threads you have used here....I mean which brand and did you use variegated threads too??
Thanks for sharing your lovely work! :)
This is the "medium size" - so the embroidery was about 10x14 inches.
As to threads, it is whatever I have on hand - I don't just have one brand. It is not variegated, but the threads are layered as part of the design.
What a lovely job you have done for your daughter. Happy 21st to her hope her day is something to be treasured. She will love this i am sure. Thanks for sharing with us. Sandra.
Looks like a gorgeous watercolor painting. Did you frame it?
beautiful, what size is it, how did you stablize , I always get problems with a realy dense design. wendy
This is the "medium size" - so the embroidery was about 10x14 inches.
It was stabilized with two layers of tearaway. I also have my 5x7 hoop wrapped with "sports wrap" - the plastic tape that only sticks to itself.
Amazing. I would like to do something like that sometime, but it looks very difficult and time consuming. How long did it take you to finish?
There are 8 pieces, each of which took between one and two hours (only one was this long).
Putting it together only took a short while.
Wow, that's fantastic, your daughter will be thrilled!
Hugs, Lidia
Amazing. Looks like a painting. I would love to know how many stitches.
