Could we please enjoy the summer before that?! Maybe it's nice to start early but my best ideas only come the day after. Yeah, I know, in future I should start in January.
I have a problem if I start too early I forget what I have bought and made for whom and then I get all screwed up, better to wait until the last minute and then rush like heck...LOL ...
That isn't really a problem unless you buy clothes. They get to small or go out of style. But don't worry if it is the style thing it will be back in 10 years. Anything else can b saved 4 birthdays.***
Are you like one of my friends and leave the tree up all year? She puts in the corner, and put a sheet over it. That was a little much for me. Thanks for reminding us! Now where are we going to find the time to get to all of the things that we intend to stitch out by Christmas?
No I barely have my tree up at all. It doesn't go up til DH has a bday Dec12 and it comes down on New Years Day or shortly thereafter. With the exception of when my DD brought her cats. Down Dec 26th. hehehe
You are so NOT funny! You will only have 3 grands by then, remember I have 13 with 2 on the way. By the way everyone my oldest grandchild is 7. Talk about chaos when we're all together.
Thanks, I took my almost 2yr grandson to a church picnic tonight, he wore me out chasing him around. I don't have enough energy to keep up with that age. but I love him anyway and he's a cute one(all mine are)
Leah, we know - we know - not enough time in the day - but with special people like you to remind us - we all will get busy. Hehehe!
I will remember forever more. It was my MIL and FIL's wedding anniversary. She is the one that told me it meant there was only 6 months until Christmas. I miss her and so does he, but we love #2 also. More*
he he he... have you already put up your Christmas tree???? lol it surely creeps up quickly doesn't it? but this year I am gonna be prepared.... started projects long ago, actually I should post some photos here soon :) :) *4u
Not really this one was from 2 years ago. I don't put up the tree until after my DH birthday Dec. 12th. But I couldn't resist posting this tree to ceoebrate June 25th. A :o) and a * for you.
I loved the "Natural Frost" on the window.
The colored lights outside are in our big Blue Spruce and the Christmas Tree inside had all white little lights. The two together were amazing.
The Natural frost is really where the wind drove the snow through the screen and it stuck. It was cold but beautiful. I have since bought new windows. I hope they don't get that cold again.
