Hi, i looked on there ,but can't find them, but thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
What I use are paper hole reinforcement stickers They look like a little donut and i place it with the inner hole right where I want my needle to start, Remove when you get it lined up. We used to use them on our school notebook paper so the holes wouldn't tear. They come on a sheet and look like little donuts. You can usually find them at a 5 & dime, dollor store or stationery shop. Hope you know what I am talking about!!
Thank you,i know what you are talking about ,what a brilliant idea.will get some tomorrow.
They are available, but easier to buy stickers and make your own...simple cross hair in the middle...any small plain sticker will do Avery makes lots of shapes and sizes) and you can mark up an entire sheet with a permanent marker and ruler...line up each row (a clear quilting ruler works great)...draw your horizontal lines across each row and repeat for vertical lines...easy peasy...
Are you wanting the 'snowman' stickers used by BabyLock and Brother? If you can't find a better source, I will be glad to get them for you and mail them. Send me a PM if you want to do this..
I use blue painters tape. Just tear off small piece and place. It sticks on anything then comes right off not leaving any residue. I keep a roll of it by machine /Lillian
Hi, you might try here, but I don't know if they ship to England. Hope this helps. Hugs, Cece
