This message is posted in love and concern for all Cuties. This is posted here in the Freebie section so that those that are interested only in Freebies will see the message.

I have noticed a trend in the "Thank you" section (on the page of each design) of the website. It seems some Cuties use the area to complain about missed designs, the choices (votes) of the community, current offerings and other negative messages.
Please Cuties -- find a kind and gentle way to encourage our Cute friends to show gratitude for the daily free designs. Encourage them to join us in the Community and encourage them to participate in a positive way. I can only imagine the heartbreak our dear friend (and the owner of Cute) must have when she reads the complaints instead of gratitude in the comments concerning a free design.
Please note that the message you offer here is seen by many people all over the world. Please think about your comments prior to posting. Remember that comments made on the internet reflect on you and they are permanent -- even if they are edited or removed. Be kind and remember that the free designs are offered in love for all Cuties. Please receive them with love.

I have read this entire thread and I have to agree with all of you. People seem to have forgotten their manners and their upbringing. It isn't only here on Cute but everywhere in our daily lives. I've been here a long time, not as many as some but more than others. I have seen a gradual decline in "Thank You"s and flowers. Life is so busy these days. We sometimes forget to take a quick moment to post a simple Thanks! I am guilty of it myself so thank you for the reminder. No one is perfect and I know it is difficult to say Thank You to so many of you who post a lot of sites to check out. I know some just give a flower and move on and I think that is ok. At least it is an acknowledement (forgive my dreadful spelling, please!). Happy stitching my stitching sisters! Meri

The part that saddens me Meri, is that the failure to thank and instead complain is about Veronika's designs offered here on Cute. I don't mean the Freebie links posted in Community -- but the Designs offered for free daily here on Cute.

Very good advice; We learn and ask kids magical word : MERCI, THANK YOU, DANKE, .... I hope all Cuties will see the need to be thankful to Ms Veronika for the free designs without complaining.

Thank you all for reading this and for your help with it. The comments have really improved. I hope all Cuties will see the need to be thankful to Ms Veronika for the designs she freely offers to Cuties for our use. I do hope everyone will avoid demanding a different design (design series), complaining about missed designs or worse....

I'm afraid some people are not satisfied with what they get, BUT never forget the thought and effort that goes into providing a free design or the link to a design is done out of the goodness of their hearts and "Thank you" doesn't cost you anything but it can make someone's day happier. Marian

Thank you for this post. I often think of all the cuties who consistently take time out of their daily lives to share freebies and posts. I am one of those who gives flowers to all. Hopefully those who complain will take your post to heart and instead start posting words of gratitude.

I am actually posting concerning the daily free designs offered by this website and the other sister sites. People are complaining about ...stuff... instead of thanking Ms. Veronika.

I have not seen these, but I am not here 24/11. I do know that the gremlins keep scrambling the vote for the next day design. Perhaps they are your culprits also. Kay

My motto for life is "If you have nothing nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all" - all my family know I live by this. Thanks for this gentle reminder rescuer, it is good of you to keep everyone on their toes. I am so thankful to Cute and all the cuties. the designs are freebies and we can vote tell the mouse goes out. Some days we may forget a design or we just are not home. VOTE!!!!! That's what I am doing everyday. No one is perfect so smile and get on with life.

If you have nothing to say...it's better to say nothing! I try to remember to thank everyone for any thing nice they do for me; even when I am able to make some one smile.
