Now the student becomes the master. :)
It's lovely and I think your fabric was perfect for this. I'll bet there's a line of little girls queuing up to put in their order.
Well done, Lillian! That's in my to-do list.
Hugs, Lidia
Nice bag. You sure did chose a hard fabric to work with. You have done a great job.
your bag looks very pretty. It gives me encouragement to do one.I have yet to do one.
You have done a great job, it will not be the last ITH bag.
It looks great, these little bags are also very handy for small items around the house, you can add initials or designs or just experiment with fabrics. I'm happy you tried it.
Well done. I bet this will not be the last one you make!
Not being a canine I strongly believe one is never too old to learn something new and enjoy it.
Terrific...you are all giving me the confidence I need.......when I am rested I may surprise you all!!
It looks great. I love your fabric choice. Cuties always give me the courage to try something new.
Its always been wonderful to know there "cuties" who have my back. Thank you/Lillian
Well done Miss Lillian, you've done an awesome job. It's always nice to learn new things isn't it? Love Chris
You have done a great job Lillian :)
These ITH stuff is fun to do and simple if we just follow the instructions carefully!
As it is said when there is a will there will be a way!
Lol I have preached that very adage to my daughters all their lives because I truly believe it. "If you really want to do it, you'll find a way" Thank you/Lillian
Lillian I can just imagine how you must feel...it's like we sew so much other things and something as simple as this we get so afraid. well at least I do anyway. I too have yet to try it...good on you. hugs Kerry
it looks nice
Well nicely done! Now that you have one under your belt...the rest will be easy peasy!!
Looks terrific, and will be perfect for winter, if you in a cold weather area.
Great job! I think it's getting past the first one and then you probable feel more confident! I downloaded the pattern and plan to give it a try when I get a chance too!
This is fabulous Lillian, you have done a great job. I quite like this material it looks super. Sandra.
Thank you Sandra, It was a left over scrap of upholstery fabric but pretty stiff for something this small/Lillian
well done Lillian! The more of these that get done the more I learn from too ~hugs~
Thank you dear. It takes me a while to get to something but I just had to try this. I would love to have a little larger design but maybe I'll be able to get one one of these days in the meantime I'll do some more this size/Lillian
Way to go my friend ****Love it to****this is next on my to do list ***tomorrow i will begone for the day but soon i want to try this pattern ***
hugs carolyn
Took me a while to get up the courage LOL.. Be careful out and about tomorrow/Lillian
great job!! I have done lots of tissue holders in the hoop, buy only one little bag with a zipper. You give me courage to try also. The kids would love this with their monogram on it. I could use up some of those old zippers, also. Kay
I've done a lot of the tissue holders also Kay but none with zips. this was a little more work but I think now I will do some more/Lillian
You are putting me to shame, because I still have not tried it.Forget to purchase plastik zippers once out. Yours look perfect.
Grand daughter, is always going to yard sales and gets me zippers, bias tape, lace and fabric when she sees it. I come out pretty good with what she brings,
It looks great! You should try her glasses cases! They are fun and easy to do too!
I probably will but I know very few people who use cases, most have contacts or use the hard cases.
The first bag is scary. After that, it's addictive! I really like your fabric - wool? How's home care going? And are you doing better, with help?
Yes help with his baths has really helped me. the therapy has helped also LOL me as much as him, he will not do his exercises unless I do them with him so we exercise every morning after breakfast, most are with him in his WC but a few are done with him standing and holding to the kitchen sink, trying to work on his balance. The PT has ended so it's up to me to keep it going. I think exercise of any kind is good for everyone. thank you for caring and asking/Lillian
I have started yoga Lillian I only do what I can & skip the rest that I can't do & the teacher is ok with that. The reason I mention this is because it has helped me with my balance quite a bit. I am no where near great but a little bit goes a long way. Once he is feeling stronger perhaps he can do some in his wc too
