That's was Mr. Toad's wild Ride! I'm thankful that your home didn't catch on fire and that most of your things were O.K. I hope you can recover what you have lost.
Mr. Toad may take his wild ride elsewhere! lol. Yes we were lucky on the fire issue. That would have been something to be upset about, to come home to NO house! No thank you! It's only stuff and can replaced if not I didn't need it...right? Thank yo
wow sounds like quite the adventure & good for you for having such a positive attitude! I hope that all is well very soon & you are able to get some serge protectors if that may help in the future ~hugs to you ~
Thank you, Miss Loralye. I've heard of electric companies having whole house surge protectors, will check into this. Thanks for triggering a memory. hugs 4 u
I know it was bad but could have been much worse. Hope everything will be back in order and nothing else found wrong/Lillian
Thank you so much Miss Lillian, you are so right. There are so many more worse off then husband and I are. I won't complain. :)
That happened to my sister when lightning hit the house next door. She lost her phone stereo and computer. Best of luck to you hope you find all that is wrong and able o fix them.
I guess the reason I'm not too shook about this is it's the 3rd time it's happened. We lost the freezer and refrigerator compressor the first time. Thanks :)
Oh my, what an ordeal...hope that all is back to normal soon and you are quickly stitching again...
I know it will be alright. Hopefully the electric company will be out sometime this week. I'm sort of afraid to turn the machines on. Thanks Miss Dragonflyer, I have snowballs to make! :)
Wow! That is a lot. It is good to see you and hear things are getting back to normal. Best wishes, Christine
Sorry you has so much trouble. Is any of this covered on your home owners insurance? I remember when I updated my deductible to lower my cost the next thing is to replace my roof because of hail storm damage. It is always a no win situation. Perhaps this should be a warning to us to unplug a bunch before we go on vacation. Kay
Haven't got to the insurance part yet! Yikes...we were just flabbergasted at the items and ways in which they were affected. I'll add that call to my list! Thanks, Miss Kay.
Oh dear Leaha. This must have been depressing. Hopefully you will get everything back and running smoothly again soon.
It's concerning, but not depressing as everything can and will be fixed or replaced in short order. The poor people in the hurricane and flooding are in much worse shape than we are. God Bless them first and foremost. Thank you
So good to hear from you Leaha!! I am so sorry for your "adventure". We had a similar thing happen to us - but with a leak - ugh! It took me 8 months to have the repairs done and go through the insurance. Oh, well, it all worked out and some things are even better than they were. So hopefully, you will find the same! Loads of luck and hugs to you, Laura*
Sorry for your adventure with water, Miss Laura. This is just one more hiccup in the process we call life. One day at a time. :) Thank you and hugs 4 U.
Hi Leaha, I'm so sorry about all the damage to you home, but thankfully they can be fixed. I hope you get to have a go at the purses they are easy to do. Love Chris
Hi Miss Chris, thank you. There isn't anything broken so far that can't be repaired or replaced. God was good we at least still have a house and home. My heart goes out to the people in South Carolina after the flooding and hurricane. hugs.
