It's a very cute panel! I can see why you chose it. It sure looks cuddlely to me! Yep. I do the same thing you do. Something about the challenge of making something "perfect" in our own eyes in spite of how wonderful a result is. We are our own worst critiques at times. She'll love it just the way it is!
Looks swell to me :-)) If you do not point to mistake, it will also note nobody, anyway the great cover receives the predicate cute :-)
You are the only one that will notice flaws. I think it is cute as all get out, and Mom-to-be will too. I know what you mean about working with minkee.... I say never again too!
lol Sharon, perhaps your right I will soon see & maybe can take a picture of the mom-to-be holding the blanket. Thanks so much ~hugs~
Great Job! Everyone at the shower will be in awe.....cute panel!
wow no need for picking out some stitches its perfect, well done

You did a great job. The eyes and nose look good to me.
The Mom-to-be will love it.
Gorgeous result. Minky is meant to be cuddled and rubbed in the dark and dragged behind a toddler. Don't worry about it!
lol Betsy I do hope that Ethan does just that, a favorite blanket is the only way to go dragging it along behind you lol ~hugs~
Speaking, or writing, for all of us lovers and haters of minky fabric you really did a great job! Be proud and smile! It is, after all, the fabric's fault, not yours, lol. Really, it turned out great! Thanks for posting!
lol it really is the fabric's fault so darn slippery! I even used tissue paper underneath when I stitched & still it moves sigh......Thank you Nancy for understanding the challenges with minky . ~hugs~
Great quilt. Only you know what is not quite right. Looks fine to me. Hugs Shirley
Loralye, it is just gorgeous and I agree with everyone else, you are too hard on yourself. No-one will notice anything, the mother will love it and the baby has a fun quilt to play with. I just wish you had let your face show in the picture! Love Chris
lol I had my customer hold it for me when she came to pick up her order lol. Thanks Chris ~hugs~
I think it is perfect and someone that doesn't sew or embroider will never notice the things you do. I am making a farm blanket too - have it all appliqued but still need to put the squares together and then I need to do all the little cuts to turn it into a rag quilt. The shower is at the beginning of Nov. so I need to get back on it. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to get it finished. :)
wow rag quilts are quite the endeavor I do hope you have good scissors! Thank you very much ~hugs~
I can't imagine anyone complaining about receiving this as a gift. It's so cute and cuddly.
Beautiful! I bet the baby won't care what it looks like. And mom will be so happy to have a new quilt for her little one. Made with love and stitches. We are always so critical of our own work.
this is so true & I guess it is pretty soft so maybe she won't even notice? Thanks so much ~hugs~
It is perfect. You see flaws where others see a fun design. I know it is going to be treasured and the baby is going to be so cozy wrapped in love.
Ah thanks Karen well it will be very cold this winter so I thought this would be a nice snuggly warm blanket. ~hugs~
maybe it's the nose holes that are too close & not the eyes? I don't know but I think it's off somewhere
I think that sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. You have created a lovely piece of work
