It is a very cute little blanket, love the embroidered Name and the corners are perfect!
Cheers, Roberta
Very cheery colors, nicely done. I just do ordinary single layer receiving blankets and serge the edge with a narrow 3 thread overlock stitch. I shorten the stitch length when rounding my corners and usually use nylon wooly thread. Yours makes for a nicer and warmer blankie though. Nice thought for decorative stitching all the way round.
Rounded corners are so much easier aren't they! Love your little blanket, the fabric and applique letters are just terrific!
You were well instructed. Beautiful corners. Grand work girls.
Great job Loralye and Anita!! What is the secret to making round corners? Perhaps, it is just easier than mitered? If that is the case, I need to give it a try! Hugs, Laura*
Yes most definitely easier Laura & do give it a try you will see much easier & for me quicker too, thank you very much, ~hugs~
What a cute little boy blanket. Love the applique font for his name. And.... I'm thinking I need to try the rounded corner technique as well!
Sharon so much easier & less fiddling with trying to get them just perfect, I will definitely do them this way from now on, thank you very much, ~hugs~
Really Pretty!!! Love the Name in different colors.
