I do not participate BUT I love to read all about those that have.
Seeing pictures of what was received and how they fitted into the receiver's life were amazing.
That is a great gift to me.
Thank you, Sue for organising past Secret Santa exchan

Congratulations on being a moderator. Thanks dee
I look forward to the Secret Santa exchange and I certainly hope you can find the time to do it again. I have received some lovely things but sometimes I feel a bit guilty when the one item rule is ignored and I get way more than I sent. I know that it is suppose to be a secret exchange but part of the fun for me is trying to figure out who my Secret Santa is. I have learned so much about other Cuties and where they are from in the process of trying to learn who sent me a gift. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
I love all of the Cute secret exchanges, particularly keeping the recipient guessing as to who sent to them. It's such fun planning and making a special gift for a like-minded fellow Cutie. I think the process has developed really well since it's inception and all who participate do their level best not to be the one who disappoints anyone. If you feel up to doing it all again, Sue, I know you'll be making a bunch of Cuties very happy indeed (& you'll recover eventually, as usual LOL).
Sue i really appreciate your hard work pulling this together.
I love to see all the creations made with love to another cutie.
And i love to "show off" what was made with love for me .
Looking forward to another ... :)))
Sue, your time is always so much appreciated! I for one was overwhelmed by the generosity of my Secret Santa. I can't help but say a prayer of thanks every time I see the gifts as they were for my machine. Mine were not equal in the expertise that was so evident in mine. However I look forward so much to getting something. Some of us are alone and look forward so very much to any note or card sent throughout the year. You are so kind to take time to do this(and other secret stuff). I am very grateful for all you do. Stella
Sue, I loved participating it when I did. I received far too nice of an item for what I sent to my recipient. What was hard for me was not being able to thank that Cutie for such a caring, beautiful and thoughtful gift. It still haunts me. I would love if there were a "revealing" for people like me, who really want to know and thank who sent such a special gift.
That would be a lot more work for someone, probably dear Sue. Let the words with the pictures be your thanks! We get it!
Jan, it's not the gift. It's the heart of the gift-giver. We can't all be experts. My gift that I received far exceeded the one I sent, but I made it with great love and I hope the recipient saw that.
Sue you have always been so kind and generous of your time during a busy holiday season to organize this event. It is so appreciated-THANK YOU! I love the experience of the Secret Santa exchange. It is always so much fun to create an item for a fellow cutie, and to eagerly await to see a surprise arrive in the mail for oneself made by another cutie. I do hope though, that all cuties participating in any future Secret Santa exchanges will adhere to the one item only poilcy.
Thank you Sue for taking it on again this year, I am looking forward to taking part. It is nice to find out a little about who we are making the gift for. The swap is truly a world wide operation and takes a lot of organisation, we are ever so grateful to Sue. G
It has been a wonderful experience for me and I look forward to participating each year. Do have to say that I am glad you stressed the "only one item" idea/rule as that was beginning to get a bit out of hand. Thanks to you, Sue for all your efforts putting these swaps together. Hugs. Nan W
I KNOW ONLY ONE,BUT SOME THINGS COME IN SETS.IT IS SO HEARD TOO BREAK THEM UP...LOL LUCY
Well, Sue, to me it's what this site is all about - sharing our love of Embroidery and then to be able to make something for someone else who really appreciates the time, effort and planning that goes into choosing it is just an added bonus. It's so much fun waiting in anticipation to see what we receive. I look forward to making something that suits the recipient and I know the others on here do too.
For you to take this on again is wonderful and I look forward to being in this year's challenge.
I can't believe we only have 68 days till Christmas. This year has flown by so fast.
Love Chris
I love the Secret Santa's. The anticipation of sewing a gift for another who will appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into what you have made is a bit like going on a first date lol. If you can spare the time this year it will be appreciated. Marian
I love this event and look forward to it every year...I know it is an incredible amount of work for you, Sue...but it is every so much appreciated...I love the thrill of receiving a name that has been chosen for me and coming up with that just so special gift to make...and the anticipation of receiving something from another Cutie who has taken the time to make it especially for me...it is a highlight of the Holidays for me...here's hoping that you will endure another year....and many, many thanks to you for doing it so selflessly...
Overall, it's been a lovely experience. It really meant the most to me to be stitching something beautiful for someone who would really understand the skill and time and effort and creativity involved in making it. Received some lovely stitchings as well, but it really meant something extra to me to be gifting and surprising another embroiderer.
