Wow, that would scare me..I'm glad you didn't get hurt or have a heart attack. You should write to the company - ODIF - and tell them what happened. Even if you don't clean it - it shouldn't explode like this. Send them the photos of the can and explain that it was scary and that it sprayed all over your deck. They should at least send you a new can of 505, assuming you still want to use their product.
It was your lucky day, jane
I feel your pain. In the past, have pulled the nozzle off a spray can to get it to stop spraying everywhere. "Stuff" can build up between the little spout and the nozzle.
Rather than thinking about the cost of the lost product, think about the entertainment value of experience. It hurts then a little less.
oh dear, like all others wrote: good thing it happened outside, But scary indeed, .........Must be the time of the year: Halloween...?
but I remember I had something like that once with a paint-can.....good thing I was outside too....
I can say I've never had that problem with a can before, gummed up nozzels yes but never with a can with a mind of it's own..
That is scary. I can just imagine glue spray all over the sewing room. I am going to look at that can with renewed respect. I am so glad you were outisde
Wow! What a lovely treasured piece of art you have made Miss Katydid! I don't want one like it...but it is very unique! :) Glad this was outside and not in the most important room of your house.
So glad the mess was outside, never had this happen at all. I would let the company you bought it from know what happened, just may be there would be some compensation. Good luck. Sandra.
Wow, have never had that happen. I am glad you were able to get it outside and not have it happen in the house. It does look like a can of snow now.
I have to do that stuff outside regardless. Wow! So glad your situation did not happen. any guess why? Clogged cap?, temperature? product expiration?
I think that was the reason as I tried to spray and it was bubbling around the nozzle and I pulled it off to see if I could clean it up some what and when I stuck the nozzle back on is when it happened. I couldn't even pull it back off. It was awful!
Thank goodness that it didn't happen inside and your sewing area/room
Yes, I am thankful as my sewing room is the farthermost place from am outside door. Can you imagine running through the house with it spraying? Kay
I would write the company & let them know what happened & include the photos............
I think they are in France. I bought several cans before the last price increase. I bought them from ShoppersRule.com Maybe I should contact them. They are a USA company.
