I sold my mini magic box years ago as it wouldn't work with Windows 7. I hope you manage to get sorted out

Remember that to use a Magic Box you have to get an "activation key" online to use it...and the business that sends you the key no longer sells Magic Boxes or gives out activation keys. When I got my new computer and tried to use my Magic Box with it, I could not.

I own the Mini Magic Box Plus (which saves to your hard drive), and I have never had an ''activation key" unless it was on the install disk. I've actually installed it on 2 XP laptops. It reads/writes for 9 formats, including Janome 10000--so don't guess your machine would work w/it. The prob with MB now is Windows OS. Don't think it works with anything above XP, does it? I have Win10, so have not attempted to install it.

It's interesting that your Magic Box work on different computers. When I called the company, they said it wasn't possible to do nor can I do that with mine.

Hi Yvonne, and welcome to Cute...I do not know the answer to your question, but as asterixsew has suggested...I would try E-Bay...

Hi and welcome. I have to say that I am not sure about your request to buy (as a new moderator). This site covers the world so postage could be high. I am in the UK and the first place I look is eBay. I also suggest that you go to the q&a section here and read about how the site works. If you are in the UK say so as I know of a group that might be able to help. I think the scan machines stopped being produced years ago

Thanks for reposting your question here. (I have now removed your previous one.) I hope someone will be along soon who can make some suggestions of a solution for you.
In the meantime, please read through the Q&A section. There is a lot to learn about this site, but it is well worth the effort! You will find that we are a very friendly bunch.
