What a bunch of excited little girls, beautiful jobs they did and Aunt Kim is a real keeper also. So glad you have someone to pass your love of sewing onto and share you love of creativity with. :)
Fabulous items to get the young ladies started on this lifelong hobby. Love the way the girls are so proud of their llamas.
Thanks so much...I think all the girls did a great job on their llamas...they are all beginning sewists..
Fantastic! I just love the needle case. and think I just saw it while browsing designs.
Thanks, Christine...I think the girls will like them, too! Very exciting to get your very own sewing things...
These are just too cool, Kim....love the little ones with the alpaca's or llamas.......great pics!
Thanks, Vicki...Leah and her friends are grinning with Joy with their accomplishments!
The sewing kit is a great idea and super cute. Love the photo of the precious girls holding the cute Llamas. Absolutely love the Llamas faces. The girls did a great job!
Leah is adorable (and she looks quite proud of her creation)! The needle case and pincushion are great gifts for her to use for years and years. Perfect Aunt Kimmy!
My oldest granddaughter has been sewing since she was 8 also and now her younger sister (5) has joined the madness! They are both members of my 4-H sewing club. It is wonderful to see skills being passed down to another generation.
ah she is adorable! Well done Aunt Kimmy you have passed down a wonderful skill & your love of stitching to her! ~hugs~
Aunt Kimmy, you have inspired a very gifted young lady. I love the freckles on her Llama's tiny nose. She is going to be so very excited to get her very own sewing basket full of the goodies you have made. I still have my grandmother's sewing basket, but I don't use it. I just go touch it and remember occasionally.
Thanks, Jerrilyn...I know she will love having her very own sewing supplies...included are a pair of Gingher 8" Sewing Shears...I want her to have good tools that she will take care of...she is very responsible...the girls had to draw their own faces and then hand embroider them...I think Leah did a wonderful job...
Just love when another generation takes this wonderful craft on! Love the gifts , they shall use them for years to come.
Thank you...I know she will be thrilled to have her very own sewing supplies..
Really cute idea. It's wonderful that she is learning to sew, and at such an early age. Tell her to keep up the good work and she will be able to do lots in life. Thanks for sharing with us. Mechille :)
Excellent, but take care, those snaps are addictive!
What lovely sewing cases& containers you've made for these beginning sewists. Sure to inspire them to continue in their ongoing projects. Thanks for sharing them :~D
Love it when the young ones get into sewing and crafting. Those needle cases and boxes will comein handy for them.
Love seeing this you have been a great inspiration to your niece.... nieces. Great gifts!
Thanks, 'Mom'....I think she did a great job on her Llama...her first project!
Those are wonderful small gifts (needle case and pin cushions). You are getting all your stitching done early. I haven't yet started for the holidays. Too busy with birthdays right now.
Leah is doing quite well in her class - the llamas are really cute. She has a terrific role model and mentor to go to when she needs a little help with her sewing.
Thanks so much..she just LOVES to go to her sewing class...she has one class every week...and can hardly wait to get there..the Llama was her first project..and she had never sewn a stitch before...they also had to design their own faces and hand embroider them for this project...she is learning so much...
These pictures of the young ones and their work is especially wonderful. Great job on the special gifts.
It does this heart so good to know there are young ones wanting to learn to sew. What you have made is so nice and will thrill her. Me thinks that maybe she has picked up the sewing bug from getting all the goodies Aunt Kimmie has made for her.. You are a wondsdrful Aunt you know and blessed to have adoring young ones./Lillian
Thank you, Lillian....I was so surprised when Leah's Mom called me and told me Leah begged her to let her take sewing lessons...and the Little Pin Cushion Studio was such a great find...I am so proud of that little imp...
Awesomeness abounds!!!!!Your projects are perfect for her. And Leah's WOW!!!
Very nice work, great to see the young ones interested, our next cuties. Sandra.
I can see how proud you are Aunt Kimmy--I would be also. I've tried to encourage my grandkids to sew. My daughter stitched mostly cross stitch and made a few dresses for her daughter. Now that daughter is sewing for her daughter and friends--they'll either like it, not like it or give it up and come back to it at some point. Thrills me when they do. These gifts are lovely.
Thank you, Patti...I am thrilled she is so excited to learn how to sew...
These are all lovely and it's great to see your great-niece taking up the sewing bug. Love Chris
Thanks, Chris...she just loves taking her classes...the studio only teaches children....
