Oh Sue, you just don't hate when it happens? Glad it happened to a good sense of humour person like you! Thanks for the laugh, needed one today! Hugs, Yoriko
Oh Sue what a laugh add me to the list of " lack of concentration" but the bad part turned around and did the same thing.........a truly blonde day...ol. soozie
Sounds like my Aunty Hester's ginger cake. A very nice cake that had no ginger in it as she didn't like ginger. Well Sue you have come up with an innovative purse which is for those here who haven't sewn a zip in and are not sure about it
Happens to all of us now and again.
I was just thinking how fast the mugrugs were to make once I had organised my stuff and cut out all needed fabrics and batting. Went like clockwork. Then when cutting the seams of one of them I realised I had forgotten to add the lining before stitching the last colour to that particular one. So I needed the sewing machine after all; at least I had a nice guideline :)
Been there, done that. Laughing with you. I actually did the same mistake twice on the same project. Did not learn the first time.
It can be an easy open pouch. I am sure it looked lovely! If you only mess up occasionally, then you are doing better than most -- me included
not @ all funny Sue & I have done it too. We concentrate so hard on the task @ hand that we loose focus lol.I'm sure the next one will be perfect!~hugs~
I've been there. I think the embroidering of the machine mesmerizes us.
Oh dear, these little "pleasures" in life!!!
Removes your creative mood at once, but life is an up and down and I wish you to get back in creative heights again soon. Maria
Don't you hate it when that happens? It's almost as annoying as sewing a pants leg together instead of individually....at least that's what I hear.
I'll never laugh at you, only with you. There's not a one of us that haven't done something like this some time. If there is ,then just wait their time will come sooner or later. LOL. /Lillian
Not laughing at you at all either. I spent nearly an hour today unpicking a setting stitch and then the whole shape of Santa in zig zag - I'd missed a whole step by hitting the the number on my screen accidentally -aaaggh! I did the same as you Sue and had to start again. Love Chris
