Wow! What an interesting concept. I never have heard of this. It certainly looks enticing. You have done a fantastic job with your shredded envelopes.
That is so interesting! I'm going to go look it up. It looks like something else I "need" to do. lol
This is marvelous. Have been crafting all my life and I love this. Do you let them dry on their own or use the oven at all? Do you use a special basecoat before you paint?. Full of questions aren't I./Lillian
No oven. In my old house I would lay the form on the floor heater. New house no such thing but in the summer they are dry in a very short time laying outside. I had not used a special base coat in the past, but that may be a good idea and possibly make them last longer.
You are brilliant! Would make a very special project to do with the kids, too.
Wonderful recycling idea will have to remember this one for when I have the grands next
Silly me. I've been shredding envelopes to put in the garden compost and I could have lovely ornaments and gifts for others. These are wonderful. Thanks for sharing this idea.
Interesting work, do you use special forms for this?
Yes I had them for a while and they are made from clay.If you google "Paper Casting" you can find out all kinds of info.
Amazing what you can do, this is unique never seen it before. Thanks for showing us. Sandra.
