I've spent the day at the Janome UK Headquarters, learning about my machine. I went to keep a friend company, but there were a few things I picked up that I wouldn't have found out by accident.

The course was quite well structured. We were given a pack with precut fabrics to make a tablet case, and then taken through the processes needed to make it. Trouble is it now needs finishing and I've got a lot of other things to do between now and the weekend.
I will report back..............

Glad you enjoyed your day. I find that, even though I have been embroidering since 1998, I always learn something in a class or embroidery club or retreat. Mostly just love spending time with others who enjoy the same hobby. Hugs. Nan W

I always learn something in the classes. I just live so far away to make many of them. Glad you could go. Kay

Interested to hear more about what you learnt when you have time. You are so clever with your machine hard to imagine there were things you learnt.

Sounds great! Always nice to know all the bells and whistles, after investing a small fortune...

Have you gone off to finish the case? Good to hear a brief bit about the day but I expect that you taught them a thing or two knowing your high level of skills
