I purchase all my embroidery and vinyl needs from etc, they do charge a standard delivery charge so I often save my order up and try to make the best of the delivery cost, next day delivery, their threads run perfect on all my brother machines xx
I do not live in the UK, but wondered if you can get your hands on laundry bags that hospitals use. I do not know what it would be like for doing FSL but for topping on towels it is wonderful. Good luck in your search.
Thank you Sarah :) I will keep in mind your suggestion!
I basically need a WSS stabiliser for FSL!
Water soluble stabiliser is expensive here in UK, and I've found the Vilene type difficult to find, even on line.
I too avoid visiting London, or any other city come to that.
Sorry not to be more helpful.
Thanks a lot Sue :)
This information is also helpful as it has confirmed what I was thinking!
Actually my brother lives there and I was just checking if it would be any better to ask my sis in law to bring from there rather than ordering online from US, which I usually do!
Well back to US it is for me then :)
I purchase all my embroidery supplies from Allstitch.net online, and get fast delivery, good customer service, and reasonable prices.
Hugs, Angel
Hi Angel,
Thanks for responding but allstitch charges a lot for shipping to the UK! How does it work for you?
I am in the USA, so shipping is not a lot. To ship to the UK, it would probably be too much! Hope you find a good place near you, or online in the UK.
Hugs, Angel
HI,I usually buy what I need from ebay. My kam snaps also were a ebay purchase. Its so long since I visited London that I wouldn't know where to start and on thinking its been so very long that I didn't have an embroidery machine then. Round Oxford Street area there are some great fabric shops and Libertys is always worth a visit just to look at the building. Harrods also but as far as buying supplies all can be bought elsewhere for less
Thank you so much for the guidance :)
I checked ebay and amazon...found kam snaps but not really a good deal for water soluble stabilizer! Preference is for vilene as thats what I have mostly used!
Will keep looking!
