That's perfect! You have done a great job, Lillian, congratulations.
Hugs, Lidia
Miss Lillian, you have done a bang up job of re-hooping. I know your nephew will be tickled to death with this gift. You, my dear, are a master embroiderer.
I have had things pop out of the hoop before and I just pray, "Dear Lord, I know you love me and care about the tiny little things I care about. Please help me get this re-hooped and don't get frustrated or it will take us all day."
Don't think I wasn't praying Jerrilyn, only with His help do we accomplish anything. You are so kind. I have so much to learn yet and will still never know enough. Hugs
You have done a beautiful job. I can't imagine doing a 62000 design. I try to stick to under 25000 and few color changes. Great on the re-hooping too. Suzanna
Oh gosh. This reminds me that indoor plumbing is wonderful! I don't miss out houses one bit. It is a wonderful design for the bathroom! He's going to love it!
So cute! What a great gift for your nephew. You did an awesome job. I totally panic when work pops out of the hoop. If you hadn't told us, I never would have guessed. Thanks for letting us see!
Miss Lillian I would have never known that it popped out of the frame. You did a awesome job lining it up again. The whole project is great.
I agree on the great save. I love Emblibrary Library but wish the designs weren't so dense. Makes putting them on t-shirts and other wearable fabrics very challenging.
A tip that was given to me a long time ago is to increase the size of the design 10% and set your software to not increase the density. The 10% is barely noticeable and it really does help lighten up the design's density without causing other resizing issues.
Lovely design with lots of details, beautifully executed, great Christmas present!
Congrats on a good save. I'm working on a disaster from today. Opposite of a hoop pop. My sweatshirt that was rolled to the outside of the hoop and pinned, leaned over into the hoop and went down into the stitches. Machine got about 20 stitches done before I came back to the machine, so sweat material was tacked neatly inside the circle beneath my needle. Took about 25 minutes to detach and finally had to take scissors to the fabric. Restitched and that part looks great. Now I have about a 2" hole to cover with a Christmas stocking applique. Set aside for another day, when I am again calm. Ya'll know what I mean.
Yep! I certainly do. Thank goodness for applique. It has covered many a mess I have made. Thank you
What a fantastic project for your nephew, and a mammoth task for you. It has turned out beautifully, and well worth the effort. Hope he likes his christmas present. Thanks for showing us Lillian. Sandra.
This is so pretty. I have an outhouse design from them but haven't stitched it out. I am mostly trying to stay away from the high stitch count now. Takes just too long to do--that is- unless it would be a framed piece like this. And such small lettering. I always have trouble with that also even though I reduce density and smaller needle. Still, this is a great piece of art.
Looks great! How did you manage to line it back up? What kind of fabric did you use? Kay
It's on some felt that you buy by the yard Kay. I just put in back in hoop (about 9 or 10 times. .Felt stretches so it had to be lined up top and bottom as well as side to side. I would get one area lined up then hold so it wouldn't move and move needle till it was where it was lined up in that particular area. I had come to far and used too much thread to discard it./Lillian
Well Miss Lillian, I think this outhouse looks fabulous. It reminds me of a lot of the outback loos over here in Australia that are located way out in the bush! You did a great save. Love Chris
Great save, great gift. Glad to see you're feeling better.
Awesome design!!!!Great work done....Gorgeous
Very nice gift, you got your problem with the hoop fixed perfect. Looks great and I admire your patience I think as connerj, never would do a design with62744 stitches.
Bärbel
Well congratulations on getting it all back in the hoop so well.Unless you had mentioned I would not have noticed. Please whats your technique? A super piece of work
Read what I said to Katydid please. It's not easy but it canbe done with lots of patience. Thank you
It is simply beautiful - looks like you got it back in perfectly. Great work!
You were brave taking on such a big amount of stitches. I usually won't do anything over 30,000. :)
How fun...he will love it!
What a heart stopping moment to have it pop out of the hoop at 32,000 stitches, like others said you would never know. This kind of reminds me of a family photo my Mom and Dad had taken while they lived overseas, they were posed in front of the Biffy as Mom called it, she laughed every time she saw it. We looked at that photo album often. Your son will love this!
