Beautiful, amazing, intriguing--I could go on. This is gorgeous.
incredible what one can do with fabric, this is beautiful, great job
That is amazing. Love the look of each hexagon. Must have taken so long to make
A unique and marvelous piece of work. I call it a work of art and I love it/Lillian
You did a terrific job and it looks great!!! Mine is still a UFO!!!
That's a lot of fussy cutting! Your eye for color and placement is fantastic. A project like this demands a lot of concentration, and taking a break sometimes is essential. It's sort of "you can't see the trees because of the forest" syndrome. I'm glad you stuck with it as the result is so unique!
Now that is a lovely piece of work welll done , is it paper pieced or machine pieced its beautiful in any event
Amazing effect, well done. Bet it was worth the effort and time it took to make. Marian
I am thinking you made all those hexagons? Wowzer. Love hte cube effect. Quite impressive.
Well done Granny, I love the cube effect and how it gives depth with just placement of light and dark shaded fabrics. Love Chris
The location of the light or dark fabric is indeed essential. But it is a step that I like a lot in the construction of patchwork.
Hope you will enter it into a quilt show as those are the types of quilts I always love to look at. Can you tell me what size this is? I love seeing how different the hex's can look, it is always amazing to me how using the same material but in different cuts and combinations can produce such different looking blocks. Great Job! Pam
Thank you all for your positive comments. It measures roughly 1.50m / 1m. Yes, it's great fun to see the different effects produced using the same fabric.
This is amazing. No wonder it was a UFO. Brake in between is sometimes needed.
