A NEW SEWING ROOM AND A NEW MACHINE, Janome MC500E Picked up friday after my demo. Absolutely delighted with this machine, and all it can do,will have to retire my Elna expressive 8600 for a while, so i can play with my new toy. It can do SO much more than my other, am so excited at the advancements that have been made in these machines. I did get a great deal from my local dealer, discount and a bag of goodies $120. We have such a great shop in our town, including classes, which i can have as many as i like, mechanic with a turn around service of a week, at very reasonable rates hope i do not need him for a very long time. My first project today, FOR ME jacobean fruit line from our own site CUTE on a tea towel. Thanks for looking

I have a mac computer, all my jef files from various places in an EMB5 folder which i used on my Elna xpressive 8600 I formated the stick in the new machine it put a EMB5 folder on it auto click and drag to a usb stick and put in the new one as well. Not sure if it would be any different on other models ,i do not know why it should be any different. Some one else on cute will know as quite a few people have the models you asked about. I could not let it si Sandra.t in a box so long. Got it Friday stitch out on Sunday, as i had to change my room around as i needed more space. Good luck for your friend. There are some You Tube videos on line now for this machine that are good to watch. A chap in Gympie Queensland has done a few and very easy to follow. Looking forward to seeing more of your large work.

It did sew well it was the material in the tea towel as i did not use a top stabiliser, it was a test but i was happy. A CUTE design it was perfect. Sandra.
