The holly and the ivy. I was given a bag of scrap felt so I had to play! It took me longer to cut out the leaves than it did for them to stitch! The berries are gathered circles of felt with a bead inside.

It looks very pretty. Nice variety of leaves and a lovely bird bird - and this one will not interfere with your berries :) Working with felt must have been a lot faster than the FSL ones you once made.

You must be a believer in making lemonade out of lemons! It looks like a time consuming project, but it is interesting and creative. Perfect for your door too.

Love this Sue especially the cute bird perched on it. This brings back memories of my younger crafting days when all I had was a sewing machine and a little ingenuity. All Christmas decorations were made from felt, fabric.egg cartons, twigs, leaves etc and a little glue, paint and of course glitter. I remember making a wreath similar to this using a coat hanger bent into a circle. In retrospect yours is much prettier but 60 odd yrs ago and little money you did what you could./Lillian

Thanks for sharing, Lillian. I've been there as well. I'm not 100% sure about the robin.

you could always add a wing & make the robin 3D? just a thought...........
