Here is the Rooster I did this last week before this pain hit me. I can't sit for long, so this is all about as much as I can say. Kara's Kreations, took ages to sew. 5X7 HOOP. Love Chris

P.S. Go to Kara's Kreations and in the search box on the right type in SAA Chicken.

That is a nice and unusual chicken! Sometimes her designs are stitch intensive, but the results are perfect! I hope you feel better soon!

A pretty chicken Chris. What will you do with it?
We have a traditional rooster in Portugal named "Galo de Barcelos" these is one reason I do like rooster/chicken so much.
Perhaps someone will do a Portugiese Roosterdesign for us, what do you think? I hope you fiel better allready.
To the embroidery designer ladys go´s a challenge to design a Portugiese Rooster OH OH OH
You can read something about the ledgend here:

Emblibrary.com has a beautiful rooster that you might want to consider. Just type "gallo" in their search box. I hope you like it. Thank you for the Wikipedia article about Galo de Barcelos.

Me too, Vicki. It took quite a long time to sew out and only had 38,745 stitches. I notice the owl had the most stitches with 58,800. Yours were stunning. Love Chris

Thanks Sandra, spent a day at home today. Well, after I had gone out to do some shopping and just put the Christmas cake in the oven at 2.45pm and will be ready to come out of the oven at 7.45 - needs cooking for 5 hours. It's is cutegirl's recipe and it is absolutely delicious. Love Chris (I'm standing to do some tea towels and doing them on both machines)

He he he! yes, he has. It is almost 3 dimensional Carolyn. It's raised across the back of his neck (like the hair around a lion's mane) so to speak. Love Chris
