Hello all. So thrilled at how this turned out. It is a double potholder. You know like for casseroles or cakes. When you need to use both hands. Well,my son asked if I would make him some potholders. He is the cook in his family. He also wanted an apron..That's a work in progress. He wanted camo fabric. So this is what I came up with. Has insul-brite inside and the silver ironing board cover stuff on the back. Still have to press it. LOL! Thanks for looking.

Very nice, and quite manly. So nice to see the boys doing some cooking. I made an apron, potholder and oven mitt for my young nephew last year after he made his first holiday turkey dinner, and he loved them. He is becoming quite a good cook now.

Thanks you. I taught all 3 of my children to cook, clean and do laundry. They can survive on their own. My youngest is the best at cooking. But, he loves the outdoors and can do anything as far as cleaning or maintaining outside. My oldest is a volunteer Firefighter

Thanks Sandra. I do mostly machine embroidery so, I panic with regular sewing. Sound silly really but the older we get the harder it is to do new things.

This is really great Theresa, I know Meganne uses the ironing board cover fabric for a lot of things and I love using Insulbrite. You've done an excellent job and I love the fabric. Very manly and so useful. Well done, love Chris

A great idea, never thought about using the reflective ironing cover fabric.
