Thank you for your kind comment from both of us.
Hugs and Merry Christmas to you too, Roberta
I love your work. And caught my attention these points silver, what are they?
Thank you for your kind comment, if you referred to the bright circles on the edges of the embroidery, those are strong magnets. Hugs, Roberta
Your Christmas banner will look wonderful on your door. Great job!
Very nice banner. Thank you for sharing Happy Stitching!!! :~)
wow that's wonderful both the hoop extension & the banner. Kudos to you both!~hugs~
Such a beautiful wall hanging and it will look great for Christmas. Love Chris
Lovely - and great to have a husband who can make you such a useful hoop.
Beautiful! I don't want to be a 'wet blanket' but I have heard you should not use ANY magnets near electronic machines as it interferes with the programmes! Just a heads-up ladies to be careful!!! HUGS!
So why are several makers of embroidery machines making magnetic hoops for their own machines? Using them does NOT endanger the computer in your machines at all. I have been using magnetic hoops for my Melco for at least 6 years and my 5x7 for my Husqvarna for 3 years. Only problem.k is the magnets jump up to your scissors when you want to cut jump stitches between colours (giving a different meaning to the term jump stitch -LOL).
I am just passing on what I HEARD - I NEVER said NOT to use it BUT .... I DID say to be careful!
Pinning the material with magnets give me the freedom to move the fabric around without sandwiching the part all ready embroidered between the two half of the hoop provided, avoiding damage to the embroidery and over stretching of the material. Thank you "mops" for your clear intervention, Cheers Roberta
He might have to show us how he does this! Well done
By modifying an existing hoop and adding to it a metal frame that was cut by a laser machine.
Thanks and cheers, Roberta
Some husbands are just so handy. Nice that you got one to help you. Great job
Very nice banner. I have to ask, how did he make the magnetic hoop?
Using part of an existing hoop by adding a metal frame.
Thanks and cheers, Roberta
Great Banner and a really good idea of your husband .
how did he make a magnetic hoop? Fabulous both the hoop and your banner.
My husband build the magnetic hoop using part of the existing one by adding a metal frame.
Thanks and hugs, Roberta
Well he's done fabulous inventive thing for you. They are so expensive on the market-Would like one but not at that price tag.
