The same to you Lynn. May you have the best of Holidays and a bit of cooling down. To me heat and Christmas just do not belong together. I wish you and your girlfriend a whole lot of fun while embroidering..

Hi Lynn , We are sending you some cooler weather from Perth , our days have been mild so I will send some of them your way , I saw the weather for your part of the world and thought "oh no" poor things we usually get it before you do but this time in swept down from up North , Hope you have a lovely Christmas , and get lots more sewing done in 2016 . Cathy
Thank You Cathy. Storms tonight/tomorrow then possible rain and cool weather.
Merry Christmas, Lynn...and Happy New Year, too!
Happy Christmas and best wishes for the new year, may that be a healthy one! I hope you'll be able to stitch and sew more - I loved your biscornus and sock puppets, and not to forget your fuchsia embroideries.
When I sell any Biscornus at a Market I have a sign saying Biscourn/Pincushion and it is amazing how many people ask what is a Biscornu.
Thanks and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Make it happen and be sure to set up stitching dates with your friend. what a wonderful way to spend a day.
Merry Christmas to you and the family also... Have fun embroidering next year!
Hot in Albury today as well, expect 41 deg tomorrow. In side with air con on finishing lots of projects for christmas. It is that time of the year again when we expect hot weather, bit hopefully the 25th will be a cooler day for cooking traditional food. Sandra.
24th here in Adelaide is expected to be 39C Then on Christmas Day possible showers and 29C. Thought I was going to miss Christmas as I have to travel and was not going to go if it was too hot as I just know some idiot would light a fire while I was away. I am in a fire prone area.
Hi mi30kaja, I feel for you, I too am in S.A down South in Woodcroft, and I can tell you it is Hot Hot Hot. We don't even let our Cat Gizmo out when it goes over 30 degrees. To hot for any Animal. Hope that you & your Family have a safe & Happy Christmas.
Regards Lorraine
HI Lorraine, I am at Mylor and my stepson lives at Woodcroft. Usually go there at Christmas but this year down to Goolwa. Best Wishes,

Have a happy holiday season and enjoy the warmth. I am totally in winter here, so I am sending cooler thoughts your way!
Dear Lynn, I've been thinking of all my South Aussie mates. How horrendously hot it has been there for the past week. My Mum's best friend is in her 80's and she says she just can't take it any more. One of her oldest friends had a place up at Pinery where those dreadful bushfires were last week and the lady wrote that most of the surrounding properties around her are all gone. They were fortunate and had wet the whole house and area down as they could see the fires coming. Trev only said to me this afternoon aren't we glad we left South Australia and live up here on the east coast of NSW? I said yes, as we are still far enough east not to get those dreadful storms that have devastated Sydney this week. What a week it has been for the weather. And of course our poor Northern Hemisphere neighbours are freezing. I've just been asleep for over 2 hours - Trev looked after Ophelie and Delphi for me, just couldn't cope anymore. Mind you I spent 4 hours this morning cleaning out that lovely china cabinet in our kitchen and took everything we had in excess down to the Op Shop. They were most appreciative. I hope you get to have lots of sewing days with your friend and her new machine, how exciting? Have a wonderful cool Christmas if at all possible. Love Chris
On this side of the Atlantic we are having the warmest months in recorded history. November was 5 degrees C above the monthly average, temperatures are now around 15C while 6C is average. We have had worse days in summer.
Wish it was 15C here. Thought Christmas was going to one to forget as Thursday is going to be 39C ---- but today they have said Christmas Day is expected to be 29C with possible showers.
