Thanks for sharing - and giving wonderful inspiration for future projects!
I have a (similar) font like that but never tried it out so far
Thanks again - Maria
Great job. They look lovely & should be received well. I haven't heard of this particular fad, so it is good to hear the latest news as well.
More interesting comments. I love your feed back as I learn from you all. I guess this is trickle down fad after all. I do love your comments. Kay
I didn't know there was such a fad, guess I am not keeping up too well but you did a great job and they will love them.
These are pretty cute! Thanks for keeping me up with the latest fads.... I'm clueless on this.
Love your monograms....had not heard of this fad, in our area the big thing is anything with 815 on it....it is our area code......go figure!
Hadn't seen it done like this before but it looks great. My grands aren't old enough for this yet, but it coming soon. Arlene
This hit our little college town a year ago. It is now "out" with the college girls, still being worn by the young girls and the grandmas with embroidery machine. I have tried embroidering the lower shirt along with a floral flourish and it turned out quite nicely.
Thanks for your comments and flowers to all. Thank you for my birthday wishes, too. Kay
Thanks for keeping us up on the latest fads - and your shirts look great.
Great job as always! Still love the font you're using.
I hadn't known of this either, but then being old, I don't have to keep up with fads. I like the idea though and you did a super job with a beautiful font.
These look so nice. What font did you use, it is perfect.
BTW, I live in NC and I get Hanes T-shirts at Walmart.
I used Apex master circle 4'' and River Mill classic 4''. River Mill is having a 50%off sale now. River Mill is a small site from Tennessee but has some really cute fonts and monograms. Kay
Wow, I'm really out of touch...never heard of this trend...nice job!
Wow Kay! I really admire how you always keep up with the new trends . These really do look great/Lillian
They look great and you have the big curly letters. Have you seen the added pocket in a coordinating fabric with the curly monogram?
Yes, I did those last year. I think they gravitated to this as so many mothers do not own a sewing machine to sew the pocket on so they went on line and bought a t- shirt with a pocket on it and all they could find was a men's t- shirt. Kay
Hum.... hadn't seen this one yet.... Did you embroidery right over the pocket.... closing up the pocket? Or Did you make it so that the pocket can be used? Nice job
Pocket is no longer usable. I don't have a professional machine. This is the way they wanted it. The shirts are so sold out that we are still waiting on the rest of the order. Also the monograms are popular on the lower left front of an over sized t-shirt.
I'm glad she asked that question as I was wondering how hard it was to undo the stitching of the pocket and sew it back up neatly. Neat idea and I love Rivermill's site as they are always reasonable even without a sale.
