I'm dead chuffed- my daughter has just sent me this picture of a throw she has just finished making. It must mean she is a "chip off the old block!"

I'm gathering fabric to make one, someday I hope. love this one.

Love the jeans throw, congrats to your daughter, what else can you expect with a mother like you :-))) Love anything recycled from jeans. so many things to do.

Very nice, she must have an artistic bent as this looks like one of the new modern quilts that are becoming so popular .I must say I am a traditionalist but modern is growing on me and I love this one a "study in blu".

The back is a recycled duvet sover.

She did a great recycling job! I can understand how pleased you are. One of my daughters sews costumes for the British Amateur Theatre society Stavanger (BATS for short) and embroiders logos on towels and names on bags for sports gear. Nice to see it rubbed off.

Very nice ! I think I'll never be " dead chuffed" with my daughter about sewing. She likes the things I'm sewing but never has asked how to do it. Oh well, she is still 20, maybe when she is older..

I have 3 daughter, all in their 50's now and none of them have a clue how to sew anything. And why should they when they have a mother who will do it for them? :)

Wonderful use of old jeans. Love the pockets handy if you are under the weather or watching a tear jerker..

Beautiful quilt. You should be so proud of you daughter. Both my daughters now in their forties have taken to sewing. I am also chuffed .

Had to check out first what "I'm dead chuffed" means. Of course it means you are pleased and so you should be. You are right she is a "chip off the old block"
