I have had strange looking stitches, or a column around a circle that is always a little different in one area - like the machine doesn't like stitching that particular angle:-( Really annoying.
It is quite annoying. Thank you so much for your comment. I will try what the others suggested and hopefully it will fix the problem. Thankyou for your comment.
I'm with Martine...I have had this happen before...for me, it is usually either the stitch length is too long for the curve and when the triple run backs up and moves forward again it is little off...I have also had this happen due to a stabilization problem...usually for me though it is when I am quilting through all three layers of a quilt and it has shifted of so very little, but enough to cause a bit of distortion...Like your design!
Is it only in this place or are there more irregularities.
I have noticed that too large a stitch length might give this kind of irregular result in narrow waves and corners especially when using a redwork stitch, but if it only happens here and the rest of the circle is OK it must be some embroidery problem.
I like to make test samples and keep them in a folder. Simple things like FSL fillings or in a case like this different wavy lines or a number of larger and smaller circles with different settings for the stitch length. I keep them as a reference for later projects - what stitch length works for what size circle/curve.
Nice design!!
thank you so much for your reply! I will try this out and hopefully it will fix the problem! Thank you!
