Wow I love this! When I got m new to me machine in September, I also got the largest hoop 14@13". I didn't realize at the time that in order to do large designs like you did that I would need additional software soooooo of course I had to put the $750 software on layaway cuz if not I couldn't use the darn hoop (unless I purchased only viking designs)
Hugs
The doily in the above photo fits my 200x200mm (8x8" approx.) hoop, so you wouldn't need your largest hoop to stitch it out. By the way, congratulations on your 14x13" hoop! Thanks for your comment.
Hugs, Lidia
Dear Lidia,
I would love to sew this gorgeous doily but cannot find the pattern,so am hoping you maybe able to help me.
thanking you .
Sandra Steggles
Sandra, I'll try to help.
1-go to suebox.com
2- look to left. In the column is a list-click on EMBROIDERY COLLECTIONS AND DESIGNS
3-it will have a drop down menu, scroll to DESIGNER LACE COLLECTION
Lidia said she used Motif#1 on this doily. There is also a free one on that same page.
Lidia, I hope you don't mind me trying to help Sandra. I know if you had seen her post, you would have answered her.-Toogie
ps.Sandra, Lidia has duplicated this design motif 6 times, in her software program. Maybe you were looking for the whole doily. That is not the design. The motif is the design.
Dear Sandra,
welcome to Cute Embroidery! Toogie has answered your question and I hope that you have found the Lace Motif that I have duplicated six times (in my software) to create the doily you see in the above photo. Let me know if you need more information. Hugs, Lidia
Dear Toogie,
I'm happy that you have helped Sandra with the info she needed. thank you :)
Hugs, Lidia
As always, your creations by manipulating and repeating designs are beyond magnificent! Question: Did you use some fabric for the centre for the design to attach to? Your beautiful vase hides that part!! Can you give us an idea of how you did that? Many thanks for sharing this with all of us. Happy 2016 to you!! Avis
Oops! I should have read all the comments below first...sorry. I think I understand what you did, must give it a try sometime. Avis
Thanks for your comment, Avis. Don't be afraid to try, it isn't difficult to make it, send me a PM if you need assistance.
Happy 2016 to you too!
Hugs, Lidia
Just another bouquet for you...thanks for the tip about changing the colour order. That makes perfect sense so that the overlap is symmetrical. I love all your ideas. Avis
Lidia that is absolute so beautiful and excellent stunning loved it very much. hugs Stella
Superbe travail, merci pour le partage de votre travail. Amitiés de France.
very nice. My grandmother would have loved to see something like this being made on a sewing machine. She did a lot of doilies by hand.Keep up the good work. A new friend Kim
Welcome to Cute Embroidery, my new friend and thank you for your comment.

Simply beautiful. I just love your work. Hugs Shirley
It would have taken days to hand crochet this beautiful doily. Gorgeous/Lillian
I have never made hand crocheted doilies but I presume it would have taken a few days, but I love making FSL doilies with my sewing/embroidery machine. Thanks, Lillian. Hugs, Lidia
Beautiful---wondering if you used 60 wt cotton thread or usual 40 wt? I do have this design and made a necklace out of this
I have used 40 wt Madeira rayon. I can just imagine how beautiful your necklace is, could you upload a picture to Cute? Thank you for your comment.
Hugs, Lidia
I will try-everyday hus says he will load my pics for me-so many to send out--I used color pinks and greens for my necklace. I made it some time ago and it stitched out beautifully. I also used 40wt.
Another stunning work of art from a very talented lady!!!!
Thank you, Donna. While my machine was stitching, I was admiring the FSL design made by Sue Box and the words "Work of Art" came to my mind. This is one of her many wonderful designs that we can call work of art. Hugs, Lidia
This is gorgeous! I can't imagine how much time it took to stitchout, let alone align the designs so perfectly. I admire your talent!
Thank you, Penny. The alignment of the six designs has been done by my software in a second or two. I have only changed the stitching order in my software to get three at the bottom and three at the top, so not much effort was needed. Also, I have created inner contour stitches in the centre for attaching a little piece of fabric. The stitch-out has taken a bit longer but the thread was one colour only so I had to replace just the bobbin thread every now and then. Hugs, Lidia
Superbe napperon. Bravo !!!
Bonne année 2016.
Thank you and a Happy Year 2016 to you too.
Welcome to Cute Embroidery.
Hugs, Lidia
Beautiful, must be many stitches and a long sew out time. Do you ever find your machine objecting to some of the overlaps?
My machine didn't object at all, maybe because this time I have used a new needle at the start and a new needle half-way as well :) Usually one new needle at the start is enough for the whole doily but this time there were many more stitches than usual. Thanks for your comment, Jo.
Hugs, Lidia
another beautiful doily. I will have to try some of these one of these days
hugs
Michelle
