I'm sure you will figure it out......Thanks for sharing. Mechille :)
Carolyn, you never cease to amaze me, always something new. Applique sounds good to me , I'm sure you shall come up with something that will work great for this project. Sandra..
Ah Thanks sandra my brain is always full of ideas but most need two hands (well Maybe) lol
You could use a 30 wt thread instead of the usual 40, that covers the red better and you won't need playing with the density ( if I remeber right you can reset the density in 6D Extra - higher density = lower number).
Love the idea with the envelope.. As always you are leading the way.. Really appreciate. ..... And do you know something else (know others have noticed also) You share how sometimes things don't come out as they are visioned.. Thank you for that also..
I have made 3 long banners this year and I think by the 3rd one I finally had the right combination. I discovered that using 2 contrasting fabrics and large applique letters gave a much neater look and they hung better, too. I found some good outdoor fabric in Joanne fabrics remnant bin & used flannel backed vinyl on another one. I tried several fonts but the satin stitch never did cover as well as applique and even with the trimming, etc the appliques finished quicker than stitching. Hope you have found the magic combination too!
They will love this.......unique idea, as always!
ye i was excited when i saw it thinking that will look nice at our post office:):)
It looks great, I like the envelope design on the top.
I know you will get it right. You are so kind to everyone and your work is great. I wish I had your energy...
Kathy
You will come up with the right combination I am sure. Go on to something else and I bet while you are doing that the answer will come to you. Sometimes I feel we think too hard and long about something and miss the obvious.
Glad to see you have a nice Mail lady as well. Mine is a Gem.
