I don't very often make anything for myself so I decided to make myself this wallet. I added embroidery to the front flap and it was the first time I've embroidered on faux leather. Pattern is the Necessary Clutch Wallet PDF pattern purchased from etsy.

There are a few YouTube tutorials on making these wallets, and also a facebook group (NCW ADDICTS) that I joined that have free add on files and are a great help

I'm not much of a fan of wallets, but seeing yours I'm beginning to appreciate how fantastic they can be! Your attention to detail and eye for color and fabric combination is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a latch like that before on one of these wallets. Can you share how you insert a latch like that?

Most pattern pieces have been interfaced and the body and flap have peltex (a heavy stabilizer) in them.

This is so beautiful. You really have mad something that will turn heads.
