Hi Cindy, yes, it was all over the news last night. We had a storm like that up here in Newcastle a few weeks ago, but still nowhere near the level of rain that Geelong got. Hope you are all safe and dry now. Love C
We are all safe and dry. We are not in the area that flooded, but my daughter and I were out in the car when it started. It took us almost an hour to drive what should have taken about 15mins. The roads we were on all turned into lakes. Very slow going.
"Mother Nature" seems to be showing everyone who's boss in these pictures - glad you are o.k. & hope any flash flooding disappears quickly.
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience.
Wow hope there'll be no flooding/Lillian
Lots of flash flooding, clean up today. These pictures were taken about 10 minutes from home, I was trying to get my daughter to work. Took us almost an hour to get there usually only takes 10 to 15 minutes (depending on how many red lights we get.) Rain was that heavy we couldn't even see the lights until we were almost at them.
That is absolutely scary. I am glad you are safe.
I'm so glad you are safe. Even with a 4 wheel drive vehicle, rushing water is dangerous. I hope all are safe and there is no damage.
wow amazing... Ben through that before ,, Sometime you have to pull over and wait because you can not see at all. Glad you made it.!
That's terrifying. Glad that you are ok. Where do you live, Cindy?
Hugs, Lidia
That was a fast cool down. I hope there wasn't damage. Please tell us where you are?
Thats a lot of water in a short time, hope all is ok. Sandra.
