I looked up visor and got 1 post, however it linked to a 404 not found.
Also if you string things together like "green-fsl-babyoutfit" you would not find them under either one of those intended tags. They need to be separated. One would have to know the whole string in order to be able to find it.
I thought this thread was worth reviving. Please remember that a tag should help people find all similar items so we need to be simple and consistent with their use. Otherwise the tag is useless.
I think the most useful ones are those about the Project (purse, bag, doily, quilt, and so on), sort of design (ith, cross-stitch, redwork, appliqué, etc)
You can use those for a search using
cuteembroidery.com/projects/tag /xxx
xxx=the tag you want to have a look at.
I do wish all Cuties would take the time to read these important tips.
There many things to learn in the Q&A section too.
The tip on using hyphens is a very good one. Not using those has produced quite a lot of useless tags, like "a", "in", "the"
The tags are so helpful. Thank you for the reminder. specially the one that every space bar creates a new tag, which can create some crazy results.
I noticed that some folks were adding their avatar and that is not necessary to add as a tag. If you click on your avatar at the top where it says Hi jrob (or yours, of course) you will see the "home" symbol then your avatar name again. Click on it and you will see ALL of your comments, questions (from the Q&A section) and then ALL of your projects. Neat, huh?
You can even click on the avatars of others to find their projects all together.
One of my fave things to do. I lovetoo go back and enjoy seeing something do e a yr or so ago. Even my own sometimes I forget some of the things . I have done/Lillian
Always learning something new.......all along I thought the tags were auto added picking up on certain words........had no idea how they worked, will investigate and try to remember to use them......Thanks, Sue!!
You can add them if you edit the posts - might be worth a try to see how they work.
rescuer did a wonderful tutorial on how that's done, it you need to refer to it.
