First off, beautiful grand daughters! Also you did an excellent job making their dresses to fit. What a fun way to celebrate ones birthday, too! Which one was the birthday girl?-Toogie
Cathy was 40 and she is centre front in black and white, with fringed skirt. And false eyelashes, just for the night!! Thanks Toogie.
Great group. Those sparkly dresses make you granddaughter stand out. Good job.
Beautiful girls, lovely dresses. Looks like a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing.
The girls look beautiful. Sounds like a wonderful party. Hugs. Nan W
The party was very colourful, with more than half dressed as either Flappers or Gangsters. thanks Nan for your inputxx
Oh ! yes , Real 1920 flappers! My mother could do the "Charleston" with the best of them. We used to love to ask her to dance for us. Nice costumes. I love period costumes. I think that was why I was a textiles and clothing major in college. Kay
these were probably not really truly authentic, but they liked them. The Charleston is a great dance but I was about the only one who knew it, so the young people were 'Googling' how to do it [but no-one did unfortunately]
Both girls look stunning in their new dresses. Well done ,great job. Sandra.
These girls would look fabulous in any decade. So darling in their dresses.
Great turn out an all look ''fabulous darling''
they did look fabulous, almost made me wish I'd taken the trouble to dress up [almost.... not my thing!]
Looks like everyone had fun .I like that hugs
yes, Carolyn. We had a pig-on-the -spit. should post a picture of that! was yum
