Nice job and pretty design. How you could do it ITH is magic for me. :)

Nice job...I would say a 20" finished bodice would be for 18 months to 24 months..depending upon the "chubbyness"...
The bodice is so cute.Looking at some of my baby patterns 50cm chest is for a 1yr but babies very so much in size it is hard to make something for them without first asking their mothers what size they are.Luckily we have a long summer & a t shirt can be worn under it if the weather is cool.
GD wants this type of dress for the daughter because it only has to fit under the arms & t shirts & shivies under it & a cardigan over it.
This one will be on it's way to Australia soon along with a much smaller one for a baby not yet born.
Sue, it is gorgeous. I hope your great great niece has many wears of it.
Just checked a little top pattern envelope--Size One said 20 inches on it.
This is just darling. I have no girls to sew for but this is just precious. Great work.
Great to be able to design ITH this sort of thing. Love it. Without going up to look at a baby/child pattern am unsure of a size but know that my adult head measures 22 1/2 inches--Ha Ha!
Did you design the ITH bodice or was it from a website? Love the dress and the little animal design is adorable for a little girls dress.

That is so lovely. The designs look great. love the Broiderie Anglaise fabric. Clever idea doing it in the hoop I usually do the design then cut the fabric.
I was going to say about a 2-3-4 year old, just looking at the size. I love the designs, they are so fresh and cute. Well done Sue, love Chris
I was hoping for about 18 months! It is to send to my great great niece in Australia. She may have to grow into it!
One of my 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter's is 21 1/2" in the chest and the other one is 24". Hope that helps you. Your dress is adorable.
