I think I have finished! I managed to get some fairly realistic leaf green felt so my twigs now have leaves - glued on with hot glue. The little birds are on cute little clothes pegs so they can move about. They can even pop outside to greet their wild friends!

The birds are a wren, two robins and a blue tit. I do have one or two more in mind to digitise one day.

They are terrific what a clever idea. Is the tree made from a Rose bush cutting? I can see thorns on it.

I really like this Sue! It would look wonderful in the garden, but what are you using to stitch him on? Wool felt? Will that hold up outside? Just curious! Joyce

He is on felt and will not go outside! We have a very busy bird feeding station outside our kitchen window. I am working on an indoor tree for my felt birds.

So cute! Do you have hummingbirds in UK? I think they are one of our smallest. Kay

A wren is much bigger than a humming bird.

109774
by Ossineu 14 Feb 2016

Oh, the little bird is really very nice. I like it how you have represented the feathers. That with the leaves is a good idea. So, you can represent a small garden scene on a decorative tree branch.
Well done. Hope to see more......

He's cute! I also like the idea of adding leaves to the scene. I think you will be getting a lot of requests with this soon to be collection.
