Again, today, I have been reminded I am not in charge and I don't control much of anything, even at my machine. And I'm not as patient as I thought! I saw I was nearing the end of my big cone of black thread and my big cone of white thread, so I decided to MAKE it happen so I could move on to new cones. So I stitched out a beautiful zebra, that requires lots of white and lots of black. Then I stitched another. And another. Well, I've now stitched 5 zebras, and guess what ran out? The beige that makes maybe 150 stitches in the design. Isn't this the way. So, tomorrow, I'm moving on to something else! And I'm going to straighten out some thread drawers and do a bit of reorganizing! If I can find the right stabilizer, I may get back to FSL, which I burned out on after two failures in a row - bad digi I think, possibly my hooping, too. Happy stitching.

It wasn't bad. Just kinda funny, as I thought I knew when I had reached the end of the cone!

Amazing how much thread is on those cones, isn't it! I usually do 1 FSL design to a hooping also or run into problems with the edges not talking to the design. Come on over and help me with some straightening up when you finish. Enjoy your day.

Well done. I love Fsl and have so far that is what I have mostly been doing since Christmas.

Know the feeling well, you can neve have to many Zebra's hanging around as Chris says you'll probably find some more beige hiding somewhere. Marian

Good luck Betsey I'm sure you'll have a great day tomorrow. You'll most probably find some beige thread in amongst all your other threads. When you do FSL put two pieces of WSS (water soluble solvy) in the hoop and layer it opposite to each other. I make sure it is very taut and normally only do one design per hoop. Love Chris
