I am sure the person will be absolutely delighted. It looks perfect to me.
Looks great to me, love how colorfull your quilt is.
I love sampler quilts and this one is beautiful.
Keep quilting,
Jane
Lovely. I am sure whoever gets it will just love it. Hugs Shirley
I know they will never know. You have done a wonderful job and will be blessed for your kind heart/ Lillian
This. is. beautiful.
I'm drop jawed if this is your learning experience. Did anyone tell you stars were the most difficult? Your journey into quilting was like taking your first dive off of the high dive in the olympics! Everything from now on will be a breeze.
I love this quilt and the person receiving it will be filled with wonder at their luck.
Wow!! This is terrific. LOVE all the different colors and variations on the star theme. You did an excellent job. The recipient will be overwhelmed with its beauty, and comforted by its warmth. Good on you for putting so much time and energy into this lovely quilt, only to be given away.
It is a blessing to be able to use the talent given. I truly enjoy making them.
Pointy points won't keep a person warm, but a quilt stitched with love is priceless. Donate it with pride and I hope you make many more quilts.
Good point. No pun intended. Have started on another one far less complicated but a full sized one.
Hallo Angie, das sieht super aus und nach sehr viel Arbeit - toll. Wahrscheinlich sehen nur Eingeweihte einen Fehler, für mich siehts perfekt aus. Liebe Grüße, Maria :-)
wow, I think you did a great job, I have never something like this and it's just gorgeous. I think you will make someone very happy with this lovely colourful quilt, but must feel it's made with love !!
by the way, I don't see the imperfections you mentioned, not even when I took a closer look. It's just wonderful!
I guess while quilting it I get a much closer look. It is the points that were not always pointy.
I think this s a wonderful quilt, you are too hard on yourself. Yes, you may say it is a learning project, but it is a super job a lot of thought, time and effort has gone into this and i am sure the recipient will just adore it. Well done. I have never tired so am in awe of this. Sandra.
There are no imperfections only character in a quilt, and only you as the quilter can see them. The recipient will love it. Marian
That is true and as I am being told by my quilting companions that the Amish make a mistake on purpose so one will know it was not done by industrial methods.
First thing I see is a beautiful and colourful quilt that anyone would love to have. Then I realise it must have been both great fun and time consuming to play with 16 small squares and come up with so many variations to stitch them together to these blocks. I don't see imperfections nor do I want to look for them, I see beauty and love.
Gorgeous!
Thank you. You are so sweet. I was following a block a week that someone else created. I just had to follow instructions. She came up with the variations and is still going. It's the points that are not always pointy :-}.
Beautiful ! I am a want a be quilter and and admirer. I don't see mistakes because I don't know what to look for. i know you had many hours and many dollars in this and it is lovely in my eyes! Kay
Thank you. The group I quilt with gets a lot of donations of material through the church, but there is the batting etc. I try to quilt myself, because sending them out is expensive. All in all I just love doing it and learning quilting.
Beautiful quilt that will surely be treasured by the person who receives it. I really like your material choices as the colors are different but of a similar style that helps them all go perfectly together. Thank You for sharing it with us.
Thank you for your comment. I also hope it will make someone feel that they are cared for.
This quilt will most definitely let the recipient know that they are cared for and someone is thinking of them and wanting to lift their spirits from whatever challenge they are going through. Every stitch you made putting it all together was a loving act of service. Matthew 25:40, in the New Testament states, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." So it truly is, as if you are wrapping that quilt around the Savior himself and I know that He loves every stitch you made and every spiritual thought you had as you were making this quilt.
Beautifully done! I cannot see any imperfections. I don't look for those things in other's work -- only the beauty.
