Sounds like you are looking for Glen to service your machine. If so I would phone the different places and ask if Glen is the machine man for their shop.
If it starts spitting out black powder goo - stop using it. Mine did that before I took it for service. It was actually going that day, but I did a class before taking the 2 hour freeway drive to my guy. I am in Sydney so no good unless you are coming for a holiday. :-)
He has customers that come to him from Lord Howe Island.
Now that is a recommendation.
My fellow services any brand and is fabulous with them and me. Seems we all have to 'travel' to keep our babies humming. Good luck with your search.
I have a friend that travels 150 k to take her Brother to the Gawler sewing centre
What side of town are you? It would help the Sth Aust cuties to guide you to one close and handy. As you will have 2 trips one to take it in and one to pick it up.
Hi mi30kaja, I would take it over to Sue's Sewing World, on St. Bernards Rd. Rosetrevor. I have had my Janome and my Husqvarna's both serviced there. 08.8365.1005

I have a Pfaff, but I think that Damien at All Make Sewing Centre is a very caring technician and would help [he's quite busy though, so do ring first] 08)8272 7244, Goodwood
I think these are the people that I have tried before and they take ages to fix.
