Well my embroidery machine is home. It sewed out a design at the shop beautifully. I have been finishing a shirt for DH today so will only use my embroidery machine tomorrow. I was only charged a very small amount. I think I know what could have happened. I broke two needles at the time my machine was making a grating sound. I only found the point of one. I am sure the other point got caught somewhere in the bobbin housing. The journey to the technician probably loosened it and that is why he could not find any fault.

I broke a needle on my machine and part of it fell into the machine.. I disconetted the machine and took off the embroidery table and my hubby turned it upside down and shook it and the broken part fell out.. i was so happy ... so maybe try that next time .. if it happens again..

My hubby did the same to mine once when a needle broke.

I will certainly try that next time.

I have done this too when I thought something may have fallen into the machine or under the arm that holds the hoop.

I did this once and the bit of the needle got jammed and I had to make a 6hr round trip to get it out. Not good advice. Hugs
