My female Kangaroo has come to visit again. It seems to come this time every year but this time she doesn't seem to have a joey in her pouch. This morning as I was going down my drive i saw two Kangaroos. Her Boyfriend has come for a visit.

Don't worry she will have a Joey in the pouch. Kangaroo's are permanently pregnant! It may be too tiny at this point.

She usually has a joey almost ready to come out of the pouch at this time of the year but so sign of one. With the male hanging around there should be one late or this time next year.

What a nice gift to get every year. I hope her boyfriend is as good a guest as she is. Let us know if she does have a joey.

Nice of her to pay you a visit and to show off her boyfriend, maybe this year the joey is to small to see.. Enjoy her visit while you can. Marian

I am hoping you are right. It has been really very dry this year so possibly this is the reason why there is no Joey. Mother knows best.

I think of you people in the West, with all the fires. I live in a fire prone area but luckily no fires around me this summer. I love Perth.

You are so lucky Lynn to have them close by. We live in suburbia here in Newcastle now and see them in our local Blackbutt reserve - about 15 minutes away from home. As you know I am an Adelaidian and I know the Adelaide Hills well and where you live, so I can just picture them. Love Chris
