Purple African Violet and the Prayer Plant have found a new home.
hope you had a good weekend, are you like me straight back to the sewing... terific weather for markets...wendy
No Wendy. I am still stiff and sore and have to do things that missed out while I was at the Market. Have to finish a Crocheted Blanket for a Baby Shower next Sunday.
Wow! At first I thought they were real!
Great job!
These look so real and are so beautiful! Nice job!
do you feel as if you make a profit on these? It seems the time involved and the amount of thread it would be hard to break even.
Yes I think I would make a profit but you don't expect to get paid for the time you spend making them. But isn't that the same for all Craft?
Love them! I had real African Violets, but a move of house and they lost their good spot. None now.
Had plenty like the ones you have stitched.
Of course my favs were different.
Had a blue one with curly edges and lots of petals. It looked like a rose in AV size.
The other blue one I had looked like a single petal daisy in miniature.
I too love African Violets but my house is very Dark and don't have a good spot for them. I would live to have a pattern for the ones with Variegated Leaves.
You always do a fabulous job on these. Good luck with your market and the weather.
They are so real looking. Very lovely. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Stitching!! Wishing you all the best at the Market.
Happy Easter!!
I had to go back and have a second, then third, look at these. I had no idea that they were not real !! I was wondering what a prayer plant was! Great work.
They all look gorgeous, love them! Best wishes at your Easter Market!
Hugs, Lidia
Beautiful!! love them they look so real! Nice job! Hope you do well at the market!
Love those African violets. Beautiful work Lyn/Lillian
Wow! You have got that technique down well! They do look realistic! Please tell us again where these designs are from? I think I would like to make one.
Thought I should check out where Pam's 3D Designs and found them in Oregon Patch. I have many of the design from Pam's
wow, they look so real, ( I have them always in real and they are so look a like, great job !!
Ah, the violets look so good! I "rescue" violets from Lowes when they are so sad looking and onsale for $1 or so. Then it's waiting to see what color they are. Have 4 gorgeous ones blooming, 2 pink, one deep purple, and one burgundy.
Whose lovely designs are you using? I agree to have a demo and take orders.
Jo
Some time ago I bought a lot from Pam's 3D Designs.Ithink they have moved but sorry I am not sure where to find them now.
It is a prayer plant ......and you are wanting to do well at your Easter market...right??? Maybe you need to make one for sample only, so you do not regret fast sales of your beautiful stitching! They are most beautiful and the new owners will be sure to have many years of people asking how they are getting their African violets to bloom so well! Hope that your sales do just as well this year, as last, as everyone from previous years are going to have spread the news, that it is from you, that they purchased these wonderful plants that need not be watered. Good Luck and looking forward to your post market posting. (Hugs) Pam
They look great hope it goes well for you, we have markets Sat.&Sun. always good at Easter...wendy
Last year I made the pink and purple African Violets and on setup day a lady came past and bought them. I was a little put out as I was hoping I could show others and maybe take orders. Didn't make me any happier even though I had the money in my pocket. Bet it doesn't happen this year.
Amazing. They look great. I probably would water them accidently :-) I hope for a successful market
Thought I should put that onto the pot, because if they are watered they will droop. They are stitched on WWS and Organza so they won't fall apart but they certainly wouldn't look healthy.
Gorgeous...I thought they were real...best of luck at the Easter Market!
Best wishes for great sales! I always love to see your African Violets and other beautiful flowers. They look so real.
Stunning work! Best wishes for a successful day for you
I thought they were real. You did beautiful work making these. Hope you do well at market.
