Thank you for sharing this wonderful story, Michelle, it brought a big smile on my face as well.
Hugs, Lidia
I am so glad that you can do what you enjoy and not worry about your income. You are fortunate to have a provider. I am glad that your husband is supportive. Many of us have had to wait until retirement to do what you do. I say that you are blessed to have it all!!! Kay
That's great! My hubby once said "You do know you could make more money flipping burgers at McDonalds, don't you?" I said "Yep, but I wouldn't be having as much fun & enjoying the fact that people like what I do!"
What an awesome phone conversation and compliment to you!!!! I can agree more with you...you were able to verbalize my sentiments exactly!
What a wonderful phone call. You are a true blessing in your work and as a person in order for them to go to this much trouble to find you. Your pictures in projects are always beautiful to look at and I am sure cherished to own. Thank you for sharing. You made my day also. Hugs, Barba
What a lovely phone call that must have been. A real feel good one. I just love all your work and can understand why someone wants to buy from you.
When you think about it this lady isn't just wanting you to do a basket because you do pretty things. She know you do quality items that stand the test of being used and laundered as she has been lucky enough to have a set.
You just can't buy that in the shops these days.
what an awesome story & how lovely is it that she went to that much effort to get to you. When we create something so many others benefit from it & it touches their lives in such a profound way. Many will keep things hand made and then pass these down to the person's first born so it lives on in their hearts for ..................well deserved~ hugs~
You should consider adding a label or a card in your gift baskets making it easier for customers to locate you. Your work is beautiful of course they keep coming back
I am glad it made your day. I had something similar happen a few years ago. This person knew that my husband had a shop and called around everyone of them asking "does your wife" sell and make Baby Blankets.
Husband was blown away since we lived in a major city and this was not an easy task.
What a lovely story! Seems "never, never give up" is her motto.
While we know in our hearts that we love our craft and feel our work is good, validation like this is the ultimate praise. You deserve it my friend.
Bren
That's a lovely, heart-warming story. She went to great lengths to find you, and I am glad she persisted. I hope you get many more orders from her friends who will see what lovely creations you design for this new baby. Keep up the good work!!!
How wonderful!! I think it is so sweet she took the time to find you. You do special work and it is sought after. You deserve big smiles!!
Thank you for telling your story. It made my day!!! I love what I do and I am very happy when people remember that I did it.
Have a good weekend.
