Does anyone buy zipper tape by the yard and where do you get it at a good price, I'm looking and have found a lot but they want a small fortune for it. I know some of you may be able to point me in the right direction

I found the zipperlady.com and placed my order there,she has all kinds of colors by the yard and I bought a bag of 40 colored pulls there also

I have plenty of zippers. I wanted to make some of those bags where you use only 1 side of the zipper then you can add different colored pulls. Thats why I was looking for the tape because it is a longer length, Lazy girl designs has the bag patterns. I'll give you a link to look at. I do thank you for the offer

Thank you, I also found a zipper site on etsy that has zippers up to 28 inches in all kinds of colors, shop name is zipit and she has very reasonable prices

I have bought mine at a discount upholstery outlet they only had 3 or 4 colors of zipper tape- black, white, tan and ? I can't remember other one. They also had two zipper teeth sizes but regular sized was the most reasonable. The other was tent or sleeping bag weight. You bought the pull tabs separate, but got a price break if you purchased one of their packaged sets that they put so many yards of zipper tape and so many pulls or you could get another price break getting the pulls in increments of 5 per pack. I would check any places that would sell long lengths for Sofa cushions etc. Better yet, as you have a business, you may want to look at where those businesses would be getting their supplies from, that is if you are going to want to purchase say a whole roll of the zipper tape. I kick myself now as the first couple times I went into that upholstery outlet store, they had a large box of 3-5 inch zippers in about every ugly color imaginable for 7 cents each. I now wish I had just purchased the whole box instead of just 20. http://warehousefabricsinc.com has zipper tape in 3 colors white,beige and black for 49 cents a yard and zipper pulls for 25 cents each, shipping is not included. I found some on ebay I did buy and am still looking for bright colors

I haven't bought any of the by the yard but on the regular zippers Wawak has good prices and they have the by the yard, Id just watch for one of their sales which are often.
