Great job and I'd also have the pan handler separate. Love Chris
It looks very pretty. I've burned the tops of quite a few glove-shaped potholders - I cook on gas not electric - so I would prefer them separate.
I like the design and I can't figure a way to temporarily attached them so I will think another day and see if I can come up with something, Thanks.
I think I would prefer them to be separate. I would be more concerned with the potholder being in the way when using the panhandler than the panhandler being in the way when using the potholder. It is either going to be falling in the pan or dangling near the burner.
Creative, but I agree, Christine, the older I get the more clumsy I am and it would be better for me to have it separated..........
Interesting idea, but I think the panhandler would be better used if separated...less chance of catching on fire...which I have done to just a panhandler before!
My thinking too and I just figured out what shape it is. It looks like a cutting board.
Cute designs, but I kinda think they should be separate. You'd be distracted trying to keep the pot holder out of the way.

I think the potholder is boring separate. I do not want to stitch through the insulation to put a design on it. I will come up with another way. Thanks
Is there any risk of it falling toward the burner and catching fire?
That is the question! I will let you know after awhile. Hubby for sure will tell me if it is not good.
I like the idea, When you use the panhandler, the rest of the potholder protects the rest of your hand. You could use the other end of the potholder and let the panhandler part hand down if you feel it is in the way when using it in the oven. Very clever way of thinking.
