I've been fiddling with this design for a couple of days. I wanted to put it on a sweatshirt, but it didn't stitch well on an old t-shirt. So I stitched it on a piece of medium weight calico and made a bag to save wasting my time!

How clever! I love the double meaning of your word "DU ET";
I agree musicians do it better. So you must be a musician too
'cause you did it so good.....must have been some creation time
you spent on the project. Love it ! Maria

What a lovely idea, can carry music notes , always love anything with music design, maybe because I cannot sing nor play any instruments, so I just adore people who can.

Next time try 2 layers of poly mesh cut away. Works like a charm on t-shirts no matter how thin.

That is so clever. I can imagine the time you spent doing the circle to get it just right. Hard enough doing that with letters. I have had good success with dressmakers interfacing (not the iron on type) as stabilizer on interlock fabric.
Bag looks good and a useful item to boot.
You know with the space between the U and the E in Duet it makes my Australian accent sound posh. LOL

This is a beautiful design. Have you tried fusible mesh inside your sweatshirt? I have found it works wonderfully for me. The note circle would also look cute as a heart. Hugs

I like the idea of a heart - will give it a coat of looking at.
