Love it Chris. Beautiful job. How nice it will look on the table at Christmas/Lillian
Hi Chis you are getting an early start to Chismas wa to go this is very lovely...soozie
Hi Soozie, well this is for my Annual ladies Christmas luncheon, so I usually start early in the year as I know what it takes to do all the things I plan! Love Chris
Chris you did a good job on this lovely runner. our sil lays these fiber optic lines for a living . ~hugs~
Thanks Loralye. Your son in law has a great job I'm sure, but when the telecommunications don't work, gee it stuffs up so many people's livelihoods. Australia has a long way ahead to get them to every place! Love Chris
Beautiful table runner Chris. Hope you are feeling better ~Charlotte
Your table runner is beautiful. Well done with a sore back/ bottom. LOL
Oh! this is stunning. great job.
We have to have a satellite ( like Kerry) dish for our internet, 'cause we're so far out in the country. On the plus side, the dish and connection is free, just have to pay for the usage of course.
Our country is so wide I feel for you. So glad you get connection for free at least. Love Chris
It's lovely Chris...those 4 sections just pop at you.
NBN....don't talk to me about that.....
It is in my area, but because we are in a gully we miss it altogether..
Goes all around me..because of the hills then.
Anyway they say we might get it one day this year.
I am on satellite..very old phone lines here and cannot get it through telstra..But at least I am on the net....not complaining.
love Kerry
Thanks Kerry, yes, they do look great. I hope you can get the NBN soon it makes everything much faster. Love Chris
Lovely table runner. Looks so pretty with the Broderie Anglaise.
Sure hope when they start the roll out for the NBA here we don't loose phone and Internet for days. Or was it just Telstra for you? They seem to be going down regularly.
Thanks Barbara. Telstra I think was the problem with ours as that is our provider! Love Chris
Great to see you back sewing. I love this table runner. Top Job. Hugs Shirley
Hi Chris,.
good to hear that you're back home and you feel better.
Your table runner has become great. I know Sweet Pea and love her designs. I'm just about to make the rabbit table runner. Unfortunately I no longer make it to Easter, because our daughter with the grandchild is coming tomorrow and since the embroidery and sewing machine must stand still. I wish you Happy Easter.
Hugs, Angelika
Thanks Angelika, I do hope you have a wonderful time with your family. It's always wonderful to have the grands over. We've got ours coming Monday. I hope your runner turns out well. Love Chris
An Awesome table runner you have done!!!Beautiful!!!
Welcome back, lovely table runner. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Stitching!!
So glad you back to sewing. Just don't overdo. This is gorgeous.
This is a very pretty start on your Christmas luncheon projects and would be a beautiful centerpiece on your table.
This runner is absolutely gorgeous. Really glad you came through surgery and feeling well. Hope this will work for you and get out of that excruciating pain.
Hi Pattie, thanks for commenting and I'm out of excruciating pain and that is the best feeling. Love Chris
This is gorgeous. So glad to here you are home and coming along after your surgery. Take care, Love and Hugs Lynn
Thanks so much Lynn, yes, it's great to be home and recuperating. I think there are a few of us in similar situations at the moment. Time will heal us all. I cannot thank you gals enough for the prayers. I have no bruising whatsoever!!!! None even where the Canula was put in! Love Chris
I can see why you don't want to make several more! It's absolutely gorgeous and I hope you will enjoy it a long time! Have you thought of doing an all- floral theme for Christmas some year?
Thanks so much Betsey. Yes, I have thought of flowers for a theme, I would use our lovely natives of Waratahs and Wattles. Love Chris
This is gorgeous! SweetPea has some really striking designs and ideas. I love your fabric choices for your table runner, and it will be striking in your home at Christmas. Good to hear that you are able to stitch!
Hi Sharon, yes, Alison certainly has some stunning stuff on her website. Thanks for your lovely comment, love Chris
Gorgeous, Chris...glad to hear you are feeling better...take it a day at a time and try not to overdo! Love the ITH quilted blocks...was the back embroidered/quilted through or added later after the blocks were joined...
Hi Kim, no the back is just a plain piece of fabric. I used the green holly fabric for the backing. Love Chris
Thanks, Chris...I was wondering if the blocks were done sandwiched ITH and then joined together...still looking for that perfect joining for ITH blocks...
That's a stunning table runner, congratulations Chris!
Also, congratulations on getting NBN!
Hugs, Lidia
Chris this is very beautiful, lots of work but the finished result is worth it. I can understand not wanting to do it several more times. Again, lovely project and you will get to enjoy it year after year,
hugs
Michelle
Hi Michelle, I'm just off to bed it's 11.16pm Wednesday evening as I write back. Thanks for the lovely comments. I'm so impressed with your quilt in the hoop project that you are doing for your sister, there are lots and lots of those squares to be done! Love Chris
Wow, Chris this is stunning.......BTW, how do you feel since the back surgery? Has the pain subsided for you? Would you recommend the procedure?
Hi Vicki, well I've not had back surgery. I've had the right Bursa removed from where the Gluteus Minimus is situated at the top of my right thigh - it's called a Trochanteric Bursitis. And yes, I'd recommend it as it's stopped that constant horrendous stabbing sensation which was stopping me from being able to sit down. I'm still on some low doses of pain killers and walking a lot. If I do have to have back surgery, they say it would be done by key-hole, take about an hour and leave a minimal scar. The one I've had has left me with a 4 inch scar, which will fade eventually. Love Chris
Hi Chris, I am so glad you are feeling better. I have missed you not posting, but now you are back. hehe.
Just love the Christmas Table Runner.
Thankyou for sharing.
Sending you my Love.

Hi Lorraine, yes, thanks I'm on the mend, but it's been a bit of a slog. I see you have not gone yet from S.A.? Are you still planning to move? Hope all is well, love Chris
A beautiful runner. You are getting a head start on Christmas decor. Glad you are feeling better

They are fun to do, but as you know time consuming!!! I love what you are doing at the moment too. I'm on my way to better health day by day thanks Carolyn. Absolutely no bruising from surgery or canula!!! God was watching over me and thanks to all you Cuties prayers I'm healing really exceptionally well. Love Chris
