You're simply the best! What an adorable quilt and quilted by hand.
Thanks for sharing - Maria
Lovely quilt. Very nice job on the hand quilting. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Stitching!!!
Great looking quilt you made. Sue has so many beautiful designs. Someone is going to be so happy to receive this quilt.
A work of he'art' . So lovely! A treasure to have for her first birthday!
Beautiful! That will be a wonderful keepsake for
your granddaughter. A lot of love and work went
into your quilt and not too many still do hand quilting.
This quilt is stunning......what a terrific theme and designs are outstanding.....
I love your quilt and your grand daughter will love it, too. It is really great. You stitched the designs in beautiful colours.
This is so beautiful. So much love and time has gone into this quilt.
I hope the parents appreciate all your work.
Wow, beautiful quilt and lovely hand quilting. I admire your patience. Am sure this quilt will be treasured by the family. Happy Easter everyone!
Very nice work. Yes Sue is a great digitizer. Hugs Shirley
Your quilt is simply fabulous! I admire your patience in completing a rather intricate designs and hand quilting. I am a fan of cross hatching and it really lets the embroidery shine. How old is your grand daughter?
Thanks, Penny! This was the first embroidered quilt I've actually made...I wasn't sure how to handle the quilting within the blocks. I like the way it turned out. My granddaughter will be 1 year old next month - at least she got her quilt before she goes off to college, LOL! Hugs!*
A very special quilt. Beautifully quilted and embroidered. Hope this stays in your family for many decades
I sure hope so. I stitched a label on the back with all the information on it with this in mind. I have a lot of quilts that "someone" in the family made but, with no label nor name and date, I have no idea the history of the piece. Moral of this tale LOL! SIGN YOUR Work! Hugs*
Awesome. I would never have the patience or the stick-to-it-ness to do such a hugh project. I applaude you
I looked at it as one block at a time - with many smaller projects in between... Thanks for the applause! Hugs!*
It's very beautiful. Both the designs and your exquisite hand quilting.
Your darling granddaughter will have something from you to treasure and feel your love through for all of her life.
Just looking at it makes my hands long to sit with soft fabric and see it come together.
Thank you! As much as love machine embroidery - I still have a need to do something by hand - gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
Excellent beautiful Quilt lovely colours. very nice and wonderful work.think she will loved it.
Wow, what a beautiful quilt you've made! The quilty looks great, such a labour of love!
Wow, you have done a wonderful job, Deb! Love your quilt.
Hugs, Lidia.
Lovely quilt. Very nice job on the hand quilting. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Stitching!!
This is a super quilt. You did a wonderful job. I am so impressed by the hand-quilting. Just keeping those lines straight and even distance would be a challenge.
Thanks! But I find trying to line up "endless" embroidery designs more challenging! LOL! And it's easier to "fudge a little" with hand quilting to get things to fit.
This is wonderful. You have done a lovely job. This will be a family treasure.
Oh! Deb, this is just superb. Sue Box does do fabulous work and her little critters are just delightful! I love the colours you've chosen and the placement. I am so impressed with your hand quilting. I just wouldn't have time to sit and do that. I send my quilts away. I bet it was fabulous just sitting doing it though. Love Chris
Thanks so much, Chris. It was actually good therapy to sit and quilt this since I had two cancer scares during its creation. I wish I was good at stippling - since the cross hatching looks like the ready quilted stuff you can pick up at the local fabric shop! :-/ LOL!
That is a delightful set & you have done it justice with your quilt. Great job. It will become a family treasure.
What a beautiful treasure for your new grand daughter!
Gorgeous quilt. Love the designs and the colour purple arounf the outside.
Thanks so much! I tried other colors for the borders, but those purples seemed just perfect. Hugs*
